OK Store Asakusa — Local services in Tokyo

It was ok, as the name suggests 😂 this is a chain store. There are some Japanese signs with camera crossed, I assumed you can’t take pictures inside. Prices are great, compared to convenience stores. However they only open until 9.30pm Fresh produce, meat and fish is upstairs. Along with soda, alcohol, seasoning. Staff are generally friendly and the store is tidy with prices marked properly. Tax free possible when you shop during certain hours. But honestly there are not many souvenir worthy items unless you just want to buy Japanese grocery for yourselves, as tax free items mean you can’t consume...

I come here weekly for groceries. It has almost everything I need so I don’t have to go to other stores often - it’s a decently big grocery store with a lot of offerings. My only complaint is that you can’t take the stairs to go down to the first floor - you have to use the elevator, which gets crowded on busy days. But the lines usually aren’t too long. They have a large selection of ready-made foods, bento boxes, pizzas, etc. If you want the discounted prices then you need to make a point card, and you have to use cash to get the discounts which is...

店内のお客様の声やここの口コミで気になる投稿が目立つので一利用者として投稿させていただきます。

他店舗や周辺のスーパーも含めて利用しましたがここが一番好きです。 理由はいくつかありますが、今回は特にお伝えしたい部分のみポストします。 それは店舗運営力と人材力の高さです。(以下、素人が感想レベルで話してるだけです)

ここは元々パチンコ屋だったため、どんなレイアウトを取っても導線は悪いです。(実際、2階から1階に移動するためには2機あるエレベーターで移動する以外に方法はありません。) それに延べ床面積も少ないため、他店舗と比べると置ける商品数が少ないです。

ですが、各カテゴリーで売れ筋の商品はほとんど取り揃えていて、惣菜お昼には十二分に取り揃えています。(お客様の声に書くと物によっては取り扱ってくれているようです。) 驚くべきなのは惣菜は夕方にはほとんど掃き切れていてほとんど廃棄がないように見受けられます。(これは訪れる度に見る光景です)

さらに、店内では店員さんはほとんど挨拶もしてくれますし、レジにはレジ捌きが非常に早いハイパフォーマンスな方何名かいらっしゃいます。 大きな声で挨拶をしてくれているだけではなく、空いたレジ担当は声掛けをして積極的にお客様を呼び込んでいます。 新しい方が入ったかと思うと約1ヶ月ほどでハイパフォーマー並みのオペレーションをしています。 (周辺のスーパーには挨拶どころかポイント付与を拒否する謎のキャッシャーもいるので非常に快適です。)

自転車置き場の収納に関しては場所が狭い上にたまに車両を出せないくらいに整理してしまう方がいるのが難点ですが、30mくらい離れたところに広い駐車場もあるので特に不便を感じたことはありません。

強いて不満を言うなら、エレベーターを待つあたりにチラシを貼っていただけると待ってる間に情報収集ができるのになぁ。と思うくらいです。(エレベーター内に貼ってありますがいつも読みきれず。。)

一年前のオープン初日には確かにエレベーター待ちで大行列しましたし、レジももたついていました。ただ、このたった一年で他店舗も凌駕する程のオペレーション能力と店舗運営をしているのには本当に驚きです。

小売業に携わっていないただの一般人がこれ程に気持ちよく快適できる環境を提供してくれてありがたいです。 初日のオペレーションだけをみて酷評する方や何かの憂さ晴らしで心無い言葉を書く方がなぜか多いこの店舗ですが、頑張って欲しいと思っているので手厚く色々書かせていただきました。
