Fruit Parlor Goto is located inside one of the old, covered shopping street, Hisago Street. It is on the first floor of a concrete building. There were more than a handful of people waiting outside. There is a paper with a pen right by the entrance, where you can put your name down. Since they only offer desserts and drinks, the turnover is pretty quick. The inside is not large but not too small. Vert clean and spacious.

Their main dishes are all sorts of fruit parfaits, and fruit sandwiches, which they did not offer on this particular day. So, we decided to get two different kinds of parfaits. We chose the Winter Color Parfait with New Year Fruits as we visited in January, and Today’s Parfait. They were huge, overflowing with fresh fruits! Their menu changes frequently, based on what desserts they have fresh on hand, and what fruits are in season.

The Winter Color Parfait has 10 kinds of fruits, including apples, Pear, Oranges, and Dried Persimmon. Some are fancy kinds of fruits that you won’t usually have easy access. It was pretty to look at and better to eat! Fresh and ripe, sweet and so satisfying. The ice cream of this day was a homemade pineapple ice cream and vanilla ice cream. Yum!!!

Today’s Parfait had fruits from all over the world! If you wanted to taste some of the best fruits from around the world, all at once, you can get that from here. It was all special and pretty amazing. With all the different fruits all over the world coming together to create this single dessert, like a majestic orchestra.

Fruit Parlor Goto is a family owned business, with three generations. The grandma was busy taking care of check and cleaning the tables, and occasional chatting with the customers. She was very sweet. We had a nice dessert time here. Some of the parfaits are a bit pricey, but with the quality of the fruits, it is worth the price...

Such an amazing experience! Delicious dessert worth trying out no matter the temp outside (probably better during the summer though). I went during a chilly spring evening but was determined to try it out! Staff is so helpful even if there was a language barrier. To smooth everything out I used my google translate app for the menu and it was perfect. Nestled amongst shops on an covered shopping street was this small store offering fruit parfaits. The space indoor was small and maybe seated 10+ people max so there was a waiting list outside. Luckily there are a few stools outside for people to sit on while they wait. Inside they have a fridge solely dedicated to storing their fruits which was interesting to see.
