I visited this store on my honeymoon and birthday. I was looking for a rare game that I was surprised they had in stock, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I ended up buying more games along with the one I was after.

That is where the goodwill ends.

One game (out of many) I purchased was not language independent, and therefore could not play it. I returned this one game to the store unopened with receipt the following day only to be very coldly and rudely brushed off in an extremely impolite manner. I only assume the person who served is the very same others have also had bad experiences with (check the other 1 star reviews).

Even if the policy is no returns, the least you can do to appease the customer is be kind and courteous. Shame on the individual in question. By far my most unpleasant experience in Japan and on my...

FOREIGNERS NOT WELCOME!

I was here on May 1st to buy a product I saw was available on their online shop. I went here to purchase it. When I got to the counter and ask of it was available the staff member K. Ogazaki told me „NO“ without speaking a single more word.

I was perplexed and left. I checked again online and it was available. So I went back and showed the product again saying I saw it online. He checked and showed me the product with an annoyed face.

He rushed me to pay not asking for tax free. It works differently in different stores so I told him after purchasing.

When I told him tax free he said it was too late. When I insisted, he finally did it. All the time making annoyed sounds.

Seriously the first experience for me of racism in Japan. The japanese clients were treated nicely.

NOT RECOMMENDED TO BUY HERE...

I see that there are some poor reviews here but here is my experience.

Firstly is think this is the best board game store in Tokyo out of all the ones I've visited.

Great selection of second hand games with generally good prices, in fact the English only games are super cheap!

I had found some games online that I wanted, when I spoke to the staff and told them, they really tries to help, they said they couldn't let me buy it because those products have nothing to do with their branch, they tried help me make an account on their website, even though they weren't able to make me one but 2 of them came over and tried.

Overall I had a very good experience, both in purchasing and browsing and also...
