My wife and I popped in more or less on a whim to eat up a half an hour before our journey to the airport.

While we didn't have time to fully explore, we greatly enjoyed what we did. The origami on display on the ground floor was very interesting (the little vignettes of the 47 prefectures) and impressive (the tiny, intricate Fuji/sakura displays).

There were also some interesting items available in the shop - it features more than just regular origami paper.

We also had an engaging conversation with one of the staff members. They clearly love origami and enjoy talking about it.

They run classes on site too, though obviously we didn't have any time...

The Tokyo Origami Museum was a small-but-delightful experience my wife and I had the good fortune to stumble into while traipsing around Tokyo on our honeymoon. While the pieces on display were limited—encompassing only one floor—there was truly spectacular and varied craftsmanship on display. You’ll walkaway inspired, as we did, along with a couple reams of fresh origami paper to...

MISLEADING NAME: This is not a museum, only a small store front in front of an office. You can even see office staff from the store.

It is 10-12mins away from Asakusa station and opposite direction of the Senso-ji temple, surrounding area is residential with literally nothing. The place is hard to find.

Origami at the shop were pretty, but definitely not worth a separate visit exclusively. The origami paper sold there were quite cheap (dont think includes tax) but not very pretty, just standard colours and basic designs. I would not buy...
