This is a great place to wind down for the day. Got here late after taking the train from Shinjuku to Asakusa. There was a small wait but when our name was called, we had to order our drinks upfront before shown to our table. I ordered the 'nama' beer, a blend of half half, light and dark beer. My wife chose the ever so popular 'super dry'. Both beers were served minutes later, cold and soothing. The view from the 22nd floor was spectacular. We had a view of the Senso-Ji temple, Asakusa and the Sumida River. The atmosphere was like a piano bar but without the piano. The ambience was dark and relaxing. Small chatter from the people sitting next to us. Large windows adorn the place. It was the perfect setting for a romantic night cap. Highly recommend it if you're in Tokyo. Just a few blocks from the Skytree or 1-stop from the Oshiage station.

At first, I went to the Beer Hall, but the Sky Lounge is located in the main building. Take the elevator to the 21st floor, then the escalator up to the 22nd. Pay for food and drinks ahead of time, and grab a table or seat. Came on Showa Day, around 20:55, and it was mildly packed (main bar overlooking the city, but the tables were open.) Great views at night. Definitely recommend coming. Propose here, or bring some friends and have a blast. You'll have a night you won't forget.

Fun fact about a quirky-shaped golden object on the building: “A gold objet d'art”, installed on top of the Asahi Beer Super Dry Hall near Azumabashi Bridge in Asakusa, Tokyo. The name of the work is Fram d'Or (Golden Flame). The architecture and design are by French designer Philippe Starck. It is one of the few places in Japan where you can see Starck's design. However, this fact is lesser-known even in local Japanese(Saying “Gold-po⚪or shi⚪)😅

Very fancy restaurant (or Tapas Bar) with one of the best fresh beers in the world. I’ve tried almost every famous beer in Europe locally, but this beer came second on my list right next to the unfiltered beer in Czech. The sights of this building was fair enough regarding the price, the beer is an easy A+, and the dishes were also fair enough. If you have already planned to visit Asakusa, this place will also be a good option in your travel plan.

The staff is super sweet and kind. The other guest are children that fight over who get the best seat to take a photo and spent the following hour on social media. Ahaha Apart that. There is a bit of waiting and the place is quite small. The small dishes they sell are very tasty and the beer is amazing. All over I think it’s worth the visit…. Maybe next time not high season so less tourists. Ahaha oh wait I am a tourist too. Damn! 😂
