This is a more traditional hostel in an old home. There is a full kitchen you can cook in with anything you might need to do so. The bed in my bunk was fine. Not super comfortable, but also not as thin and hard as other hostels I've stayed at. There are only screens separating the rooms and the walls are thin, you will hear everything. I was unfortunately in a bunk right next to the door so could hear people talking all night in the common areas. There are few toilets and only a couple of showers; you have to go through the kitchen in order to shower, which can be a little awkward. The toilets have no bidets. I stayed downstairs so can't speak to the upstairs areas, but the stairs seem to be pretty steep. This is a small hostel and not the place I would pick if you have a lot of luggage. People also seemingly never locked the front door the way they are supposed to, I would often come back and the door was always unlocked despite making a point to lock it whenever I came in or out.
The staff was really kind and friendly, and the location is perfect. I think the atmosphere also makes the guests friendlier, you're more likely to talk to the other people staying here unlike other hostels where you're supposed to not talk at all and basically ignore the people you're staying with. It's definitely a trade off between having really comfortable amenities or getting along with...
Read moreI stayed at Nomad classic for a month during rainy season at the female only capsule room. *Room: The capsule was spacious enough to sleep& do simple stretch for a month, many hooks were on the wall for clothes and bags. *Public area: If you love talking and meeting new people but still want your privacy while you are staying in Tokyo, I would say this is your place. Cooking area is really easy to use, staffs always keep public areas(shower/kitchen) clean, AC is working perfectly, close to Lawson 100 (small grocery shop/ convini), Asakusa station & Skytree are close enough to walk, Staffs provide efficient care throughout the stay with kindness.. I would stay again when i come back to Japan next year! Thank you...

Bit suburban but the train station is a walk away which connects you to the entire tokyo . Would definitely come here again if i ever plan to...
