Great day with a nice, motivated and young but experienced captain! Communication in LINE was fast and easy.

We booked a 7-hour trip for Spanish mackerel. A few days before the trip the captain told us that Spanish mackerel unfortunately left Tokyo Bay and that we would go for seabass instead. He also gave us the choice to cancel because of the changing circumstances.

We went for seabass and did not regret it! With three other guests we entered the boat at Asakusa peer. As we booked the full rental package we got inflating life jackets, rods and a bucket of lures. After about an hour ride we reached the first spot. The fish weren't very active that day but the captain gave his best and searched a lot. Two big fish were lost by the other guests close to the boat and finally we got to a spot with a lot of activity. We both could get our very first Seabass each with a sice of 50-60 cm and another guest got one with 76 cm. The way back to Asakusa with the sunset above Mt. Fuji and the city in light was a nice ending to the trip.

We could feel that the captain was not completely happy with the final results that day but for us it was a great day out in Tokyo Bay! Thank you and hope to see you again! Tight Lines and greetings from Germany,...

We had the pleasure of fishing with Capt. Itsuro for Horse Mackeral on 7/17/23. The boat comfortably accomdated 2 families (4 adults and 4 children). The weather was hot and miserable, but was made enjoyable by a fan blowing through the center cabin. The boat is spacious and well equipped. The captain is professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We didn't get bites at the first spot, and quickly moved to a second spot and found biting fish for the next couple of hours. Everyone on board caught fish and enjoyed the experience immensely. Our final fish count for the day was 44 Mackeral with many other dropped fish and missed bites. At a nearby partner restaurant, the trip was capped off with with a delicious four course dinner prepared with our families' catch. On the 17th I was fortunate enough to take a fishing trip with Bayworks Tokyo fishing charters. Skipper Endo is a very professional operator and quickly assessed my level of experience and allowed me to fish at the style I was most comfortable with. We caught white fish first, which Endo advised me would make great tempura, he was right. Then we hunted and found mackerel to catch which I took back to Bayworks partner restaurant which along with the white fish for tempura they prepared beautifully..as a result I had a great day fishing a a very nice meal at the restaurant recommended by the skipper. I can fully recommend Bayworks Tokyo to anyone looking for a sea fishing experience in Tokyo and his advice on turning the days catch into great evening meal was a brilliant touch.
