This farm is worthy for a visit! The owner has run this farm for 14 years already (although he looks so young - you can see from my picture). He said the strawberries here are planted by hot spring water, which is rare in Japan. The owner can communicate in English very well. 👍🏻 There were four species of strawberries in all three Glass Houses in my visit, they tasted differently so you should try all when you are here. It was a fun experience! The walk to the strawberry farm along the oita river was v pleasant with sakura trees lining the river bank. There were 3 greenhouses with different varieties of strawberries to munch on. No time limit. The owners are a young couple who are so passionate about their craft. This is one of the 3 strawberry farm in japan thay cultivates the strawberry using onsen water. The heat keeps the glasshouse warm too. Strawberries are sweet and juicy!!!!
