The Ryokan is only a 7 minute walk from the train station, which made it easy to walk to even with all our luggage. However it's situated next to the train track, with trains running from 6am to 11pm. Unfortunately the staffs weren't able to help us change the room even though I have let them know that we are light sleepers. Another thing is that although we had a dedicated bathroom, it's located outside our room in the hallway. One of the guests almost entered the bathroom thinking that it was for all guests to use, but it wasn't an issue after I informed them that it was dedicated for our room only. The onsen also isn't comfortable and we ended up using the day use onsen next door the following day.
Although the staffs were polite and mindful, the same could not be said about the other guests. Given that it's a ryokan, the walls are quite thin and we can easily here other people. This usually isn't a problem as most guests in Japan are very quite, but at this location guests seem to be exceptionally loud. I was able to hear other guests running and talking loudly as late as 1am.
For the amount that we paid, the experience provided did not live up to the expectation we had for a ryokan and it felt more like...

In the main hall, there's a microwave for any bento you bring from the nearby convenience shops, as well as a free flow non-alcoholic drinks that you're free to grab. The kids room is also useful to keep the kids entertained.
Each of the baths are actually private, as you close and lock the doors on your arrival. There's also a open air bath available if you would like.
Overall, a nice comfortable stay. Will recommend getting dinner reservations at one of the many resturaunts before hand if you're staying here, but otherwise take out bento was...
