Really adorable place with yummy, affordable food and drinks! Back in 2015, my sister and I were so excited to see this place next to the hostel we were staying in, as we're both half-Karelian/Finnish. We knew we had to stop in. The decor is so cute- lights strung in the Karelian colors with comfy couches and tables, and good music. Somewhat dowdy setting; the place struggles to be both a restaurant and a bar, eventually falling in between. But do not let it put you off, the food is interesting and worth its (quite reasonable) prices. Being mostly Finnish, it's not a typical set of cuisine you find in Riga and hence it's worth a try. Some menu entries turned out to be unavailable and it took a while to be served. It was worth the wait...

Rather simple, but fullifing meals. Dish sizes bigger than standard. A little home cooked vibe of food, with mediocare presentation which is okay for place which stands somewhere between bar and restaurant.
