I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming local bar, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by an exceptional barman who truly elevated the experience.

The blonde local barman, whose name unfortunately escapes me, was an absolute gem. His knowledge of the weapons on display in the bar was truly impressive. Not only did he have a deep understanding of their history and significance, but he was also more than happy to share fascinating anecdotes and stories about them. It was like having a personal museum guide right at the bar.

But his expertise didn't stop there. The barman's understanding of the vast array of drinks the bar had to offer was equally impressive. From classic cocktails to local craft beers, he had a wealth of knowledge and recommendations to suit every taste. He effortlessly guided us through the menu, making sure we found the perfect drink that matcheded our preferences.

What truly stood out about this barman, though, was his warm and welcoming nature. He made us feel like a valued guest from the moment we walked in. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about ensuring that everyone had a great time. His dedication to customer service was evident in everything he did, and it truly made a difference in my overall experience.

In summary, this bar is a true hidden gem, and the exceptional barman is undoubtedly one of its greatest assets. With his unparalleled knowledge of the weapons on display and his understanding of the diverse drink selection, he creates an atmosphere that is both educational and enjoyable. If you're looking for a place where you can unwind, have great conversations, and be treated with utmost care, I highly recommend visiting this bar. Trust me, you won't be...

We had been recommend this bar by some friends who had visited Riga last year and it did not disappoint.

We came in and the bar was lively and in full flow, the bar has a good selection of drinks with an easy to read tv for the beer selections and then menu for cocktails. The owners Normunds, was attentive and quickly and expertly made the drinks and offered some humour to go with it.

The main attraction is all the decommissioned weapons prominently displayed, after a quick safety chat from the other bartender, Emmanuel (equally as engaging and as funny) including rules about keeping the guns in the group you are in, the fun begins.

All you need is a fun energy and simple human politeness, ask and don’t assume or grab and listen to the guys. PLEASE take the 1 star reviews with a massive pinch of salt, people clearly have got confused or feel they didn’t get enough attention.

I and the group I was with can fully say you have a good time, I also suggest the Molotov Cocktail, never had butterscotch but Normunds made it so well !

If I am ever back in Riga, I...

The atmosphere in this unique place is uphoric. Likely, construted some time around the 1700's so all the old world magic meeting new world modernization of the metal arms inside. The truth of the matter is it is the outstanding staff that make this quaint slightly (75 m) off the beaten path spot, for a unique and personalized so amazing. The experienced staff deeply care about the quality of drink service and environment they provide. If you want a place to kick back, have a laugh get some great photos, create new memories and meet all kinds of folks from around the world with good tunes with some hands on shared weapons experiences this place provides just that. Add a little liquid libations and great stories and laughs are shared by all. Global friends are ready made, all thanks to excellent drinks, a fun, clean, safe environment provided by the Armoury! Well done! Definitely...

Easily one of the best bars I've been to on my travels so far and probably the most memorable. To say it is located in Old Town Riga and so prime spot for tourists, the drink prices are so reasonable especially during Happy Hour which is 2 hours every day from 4pm! The decor is mostly decommissioned guns everything from LMGs to sawn off shotguns (the bartenders will let you have a picture with a gun of your choosing too). I went on two different nights and was served by different bar tenders each time, both were a credit to the service industry. Friendly, chatty, knowledgeable about the drink range and consistently poured great pints. If you're in Riga, make a visit.

A spacious bar with 2 floors, the Armoury Bar has a selection of very good beers, wines and does cocktails; the main gimmick that sets it apart though is the collection the owner has. If you ask, the bartender will show you and give you weaponry that has been modified to not be used but the weapons are all real; they are strict with their rules like not pointing at others or at the camera while taking pictures but they are upfront so if you don't follow the rules that's mainly your problem. The bartender was nice and explained everything nicely about the weaponry and its history. It's a cool bar with a very interesting spin, try it out
