Cork’s Out is truly a hidden gem, offering not just incredible food but an experience. The chef’s attentiveness and passion is another level. He took the time to explain each dish in depth, sharing insights into the techniques, ingredients, and steak cuts. This level of hospitality is what makes Cork’s Out truly unique. The dry-aged steak itself was fantastic, served with three different dipping sauces, Thai-inspired sauce was unique, adding a bold and unexpected twist. The grilled cabbage was another unforgettable dish, elevated by grated cured egg yolk + parmesan, which gave it a rich, creamy texture. Every bite was so comforting. Throughout the meal, he continued to surprise us with bite-sized tasting portions, each offering a unique and unexpected delight. Had the pleasure of trying the house-made duck prosciutto, aged to perfection and beautifully paired with burnt orange and tomato bruschetta. He kept surprising us with dishes that he creates in a whip. He was so nice to let us try the prawn stock from his kitchen, a bold, umami-rich broth with an intense prawn flavour that truly showcased the depth and complexity of the chef’s techniques. Chef went to the extra mile, offering us an exclusive tasting of his off-menu creations. His generosity and dedication to his craft made the experience even more special. To top it all off, he treated us to a complimentary chocolate truffle, the perfect sweet ending to an already exceptional meal.

A Hidden Gem for Wine Lovers

I recently visited this newly opened wine bar in KL, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, with soft lighting and a cozy yet elegant décor. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, guiding me through their impressive selection of wines.

The wine list is diverse, featuring a perfect balance of local favorites and rare international finds. I especially appreciated the sommelier’s recommendation – a beautifully aged red that paired perfectly with the artisanal cheese board I ordered.

Beyond the wine, the small bites were exceptional. The tapas was beautifully presented and featured a delicious mix of fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing evening out, Cork’s Out is the place to be. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their offerings. Highly recommend for date nights or a casual gathering...

Had high hopes for our omakase night at Corks Out Bukit Bintang, but honestly, it fell short of expectations. For the price point, I was looking forward to being wowed by each course, but sadly, nothing really stood out except for the dessert, which was the highlight of the meal. The wine selection was impressive though, definitely a plus.

The chef was super cute and friendly loved how he smiled throughout the cooking process, which added a nice personal touch. However, the service experience could’ve been handled better. We came in a group of four and weren’t seated near the chef’s station. Instead, a couple was asked to move so we could sit there, and from an outside perspective, it felt a bit awkward and poorly managed thankfully, the couple didn’t seem to mind.

All in all, it was a “meh” experience. Would I return? Maybe but only for the wine and the vibes, not so much for...

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Corks Out Bukit Bintang! We ordered the Cavolo Griglia, Bisque, Grilled Baby Squid with Spicy Thai Sauce, Spicy Mayo Tuna Crispy Rice Croquette, and the Tropical Prawn Citrus Vinaigrette—each dish was beautifully executed and bursting with flavour. The bisque is easily one of the best I’ve ever had, and the other dishes were unique and thoughtfully curated, showcasing the creativity behind the menu. Service was impeccable from the moment we arrived, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a tourist looking for a must-visit dining spot in KL or a local searching for a cozy place to unwind after work, this place is not to be missed! On top of that, the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of food and service. If I lived in KL, this would absolutely be one of my go-to spots. Highly recommended!
