I had a very disappointing experience at this aesthetic clinic due to a poorly applied Botox treatment by Dr. Arturo Reyes. As a result, I developed ptosis (drooping) of my left eyelid, which significantly affected my appearance and confidence.

I had to personally request follow-up care, as no one from the clinic reached out on their own. While they did provide follow-up appointments, I never felt that they were truly concerned about my situation or took it seriously. The attitude was detached and dismissive, which added to my frustration during an already distressing time.

I expected a much higher standard of care, both in terms of technical skill and patient support, especially when complications arise. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.

However, I must clarify that my experience at The Face Project was far from what you describe. While I understand that eyelid ptosis is a known risk of botulinum toxin, the issue was not only the complication itself, but the way the situation was handled.

Yes, I reached out on day 6 and was seen the same day but only because I insisted. I had to request follow-up care; it was not offered proactively, and throughout the process, I never truly felt that my case was treated with the level of concern or empathy one would expect after experiencing such a distressing outcome.

Although I appreciate that Dr. Saucillo eventually took over, it’s important to note that he had formally committed to contacting me directly, and he never did. That lack of follow-through added to the sense that my case was not being treated with the seriousness it deserved.

Also, while it is true that I was seen daily at the beginning, this was because I explicitly requested it. Over time, it was the clinic that began spacing out the appointments, not me despite the fact that my condition had not yet improved.

I discontinued the follow-up care not out of distrust alone, but because I felt the attention I received lacked the human quality and reassurance that are essential during a complication. The emotional impact of what happened was significant, and I expected more from a clinic that presents itself as specialized in aesthetic medicine.

Ive had treatments done with many drs around mexico france and the usa. I have to say Dr. Saucillo is on the top of my list. He has become a friend and his office a safe space where i can openly talk about what i want and how i feel about the results of treatments done. He has always been honest about what he is capable and what can not be done or achieved.
