We found this spot a block away from our hotel, the receptionist at the Fairfield Marriott we were staying said they had a good breakfast so we decided to go check it out. Probably a 2 minute walk, across the street from City Club (Sam's Club equivalent in Mexico).
Wasn't to busy when we came in, about two other tables yet it took FOREVER to get service. It was an open air seat seating area, comfortable early in the morning will the cool breeze. When we finally got the waiters attention he gave us our menus but they were in Spanish so took us like 7 minutes to get the waiter's attention to bring the English menu.
My London omelette was delish with English potatoes and bean dip inside a tortilla nacho cup, was rather good. They had old school music playing which I didn't mind, wasn't loud at all. I can imagine at night it turns into a lounge type drink spot, wish we had the time to check it out after hours.
We both ate breakfast for under $18 with tip, IMO it was a good value considering the quantity and presentation. I would come back and definitely check out the...
Read moreLast night, came here at night looking for grilled chicken.I found this place while I was looking for another one. I asked a older man where can I find this play. I was lost. He walked me there, just around the corner, it was closed. The he said: anything you're craving for?. I said; roasted or grilled chicken. He offered me a table and waitress and said, I'm the chef Fernando I'll cook anything you want. That was just the beginning of this amazing place. I had grilled chicken with grilled zucchini, carrots and broccoli on the side and house salad so fresh with freshly made dressing. A glass of Spanish Red Wine delicious 😋🤤 all for less than $25.00dll, including tip. Chef Fernando and I were talking about French food. I was looking for a place that makes real French Crepes,in many places in Mexico they make crepes almost thick like tortillas. He promised he can make me some next time I come...
Read moreI visited this place in two occasions.
The first one was for having coffee and cakes. The waiter wasn't so kind, but we understand we were the only customers at the restaurant and it was time to close.
The second one, the next day, we went with different people to have breakfast. Supposedly, because of the coronavirus, the waiting time were 30 minutes. We waited and when we got a table, the service was slowly and we had to wait another 30 minutes... The restaurant was 50% of their customers capacity and we had to wait a lot.
I don't remember the name of the women waitress, she was fenomenal, not like the others. They weren't rude, but definitely not kind.
So, if you want to have your breakfast here, you're gonna wait 🙃 and not only because the coronavirus, it's because the service is very slow.
The prices are normal for Cabo, like 15 usd per person. The taste is ok and the dishes are...
