The only two things this place has going for them is location and newly renovated rooms (make sure you're in the new tower!). Only beach you can swim on in Cabo, right on the ocean, close to the marina where the activities depart from. There are quite a few "howevers" though. 1: Housekeeping. They took my washcloth and floor towel on day one and left me with not one washcloth in my room. I got in the shower and realized I had nothing to shower with. 2: Service. I sat on the beach one evening for about 3 hours. I received my first drink as soon as I sat down. For almost 3 hours, not one single person checked on me, asked if I wanted anything else, or brought me my bill. After all this time, I was ready to leave and could not find my server to get my bill. They had my room number and I figured they would charge it to my room, like I asked them to when I first ordered. They then called me at almost 11pm (when I was in bed sleeping) and asked for my signature on the receipt. After I sat there for 3 hours with zero service. I went to the front desk and waited another 10 minutes for them to bring the receipt for me to sign, when I decided I was going back to bed and no longer waiting around. The person that checked me in told me nothing, other than the fact that "concierge" was going to get me acquainted. However, the only and single thing she discussed was the time share. I knew nothing about the resort; where food was, where the pools were, nothing about the beach club, nothing. I researched everything on my own once I got checked in because I knew nothing about the resort or where anything was. I also did not know until the last day that you can utilize the Corazon Beach Club chairs and umbrellas for no charge in the reserved area. Would have known if they told me at check-in. I went to the beach on my first day and apparently was outside of the Corazon area and they tried to charge me $20 to sit in a chair. I ended up sitting on the beach on a towel all day rather than paying the $20. The vendors on the beach are RUTHLESS. There's one at least every 5 minutes coming up to you asking if you want to buy something. When you say no thank you, they ALWAYS ask you a 2nd time. I understand that Corazon can only control this to an extent, but I found this to be super annoying. I eventually started ignoring them. I had very rowdy neighbors that were blasting music until late in the evening. Security did nothing when I called about it. I waited about 30 minutes and had to get out of bed and go down to the desk and ask a 2nd time for them to address it. That's the only noise I heard. Depends on where your room is on the property; city/marina view/pool and ocean view, etc. 3: Food: Aleta is very mediocre at best. The Baja Brewing Company has dirty and wet towels all over the floors. Food is not good at all. The 360 Rooftop has amazing views, but again, food was very mediocre. The coffee shop in the lobby has croissants that are hard. 4: Just a heads-up... I booked through Costco travel which included shuttle service to and from the hotel. The journey to the resort included 5 stops, Corazon was the 6th, and took an hour and 25 minutes to get there. Long winded, but overall, I will not be returning. Michele (Guest Experience Manager) was the only positive thing about this trip. He tried his very best to turn things around after most everything went wrong. THANK YOU MICHELE!

Mixed Feelings After Two Visits – Not Ideal for Families My wife and I first visited Corazón Resort & Spa in 2024 for a 3-night, 4-day getaway. At the time, we were impressed by the views and amenities and felt confident enough to purchase a 10-year timeshare membership. Unfortunately, a year later, I’ve come to regret that decision due to many overpromised features that turned out to be misleading or simply untrue. In 2025, we returned—this time with our three young children—and began to discover the reality of what we bought into. When booking, I was upsold to a suite because I was told that a regular room wouldn't accommodate our family of five. This contradicts what we were told during our membership presentation—that a rollaway bed could be added for $30. That turned out to be false. We agreed to the suite under the assumption we’d be staying in the Corazón Tower, only to be told at check-in that no rooms were available there. Instead, we were placed in the neighboring tower. That night, we had no electricity, no AC, and temperatures near 90°F in our suite. The experience was miserable, especially with kids. To make matters worse, the front desk was unhelpful and dismissive. A particular front desk staff member (who happened to be pregnant) refused multiple times to call a manager for me. After a four-hour wait and persistent complaints, I finally spoke to a manager who was unapologetic and offered no real solutions. Only after I demanded a refund and prepared to leave did she suddenly "find" availability in the very tower I had originally booked. Magically, two rooms opened up—rooms they had denied having the day prior or during booking. As for the beach experience: the beach staff were extremely unprofessional. On our first visit, a staff member named Benjamin tried to charge us $50 per adult just to use the lounge chairs—even after I explained I was a hotel guest. He claimed it was “new management policy.” I had to firmly stand my ground and remind him I was a VIP member, which made him backtrack his statement. Another troubling incident involved a staff member named Efren. After politely showing me where the restroom was for my daughter, he and another male staff member cornered me on my way back, demanding my name and room number in a very accusatory tone—as if I was trespassing. I had already told him I was a guest. My daughter got scared and started crying. That moment was deeply unsettling and completely inappropriate. On a positive note, the lobby pool staff and spa team were fantastic—courteous, professional, and welcoming. They’re the kind of staff who make you feel like a valued guest, and they deserve recognition. Bottom line: If you’re single, child-free, and looking to party, Corazón might be a great place for you. But if you’re traveling as a family with young children, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. The service is wildly inconsistent, the promises tied to the timeshare are unreliable, and many staff members seem more focused on attitude than hospitality. The views are beautiful, and I’ll try to make the most of this membership—but I would not recommend Corazón Resort & Spa to families. A vacation should feel relaxing—not like a battle for basic service.

The hotel was nice and the staff were very friendly (except the two weeks leading up to check in where they will email you every other day to “reserve a spot” to show you how to save on activities with a VIP package. We didn’t ultimately fall for it as I’ve never had someone try so hard to get me to save money at their hotel. Turns out it is a “90-minute” pitch for their timeshare program). Food at the restaurants was a 4 out of 5 stars (except the smoked beef brisket at Aleta. Pretty sure they will serve you chuck roast and hope you don’t notice like they did to me). Drinks at the pools have very little alcohol in them. Rooms were well-appointed and clean. A/C in our room worked very well. Biggest complaint is the beach scene. The hotel has a small private area of the beach; however along the water’s edge is public beach. Unless you are out at the beach before 10:30-11:00 am you have no shot of actually seeing the beach from the beach/lounge chairs. You will constantly be harassed by the multitude of street vendors trying to sell you random goods and services. If it was not enough to tell them no the first few times, they will continue to walk by you calling you with either a whistle or “lady” or “amigo” asking if you want to buy the same thing over and over and over. I literally counted 15 vendors hanging out just outside the hotel’s portion of the beach waiting to make their next round. You cannot get to the water from your chair without being asked to buy something. Some of the items being advertised had vulgar, suggestive wording and we had kids with us. On top of this, the hotel had loud music blaring. So did the neighboring food/bar places on either side of the hotel’s beach area. Very unenjoyable unless you want a loud party scene. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing trip to Cabo with family you are better off looking somewhere else.

Cabo Villas has been my preferred resort in Cabo since 2004. I like it for its size... more like a "boutique" resort, than one of the U-shaped mega resorts. The location is unbeatable if you're looking for proximity to downtown. One can easily walk to and from there, as well as around the marina. The municipal bus transports you into town for less than a dollar. Also, it fronts the only swimmable beach in the area. Medano Beach. Beach bars, glass-bottom boats, and jet skiing abound along with access to "mobile" vendors hawking their trinkets on the beach for you to take home as gifts. I fear however, that Cabo Villas is losing that intimate feel that makes it so enjoyable when I stay here with the imminent construction of the new tower. Don't get me wrong... the renovations in the beach tower are welcome. It's about time! The furnishings and rooms were becoming old and worn. Much like the hardscape around the pool bar. Also, consider resurfacing the infinity pool because it tears the skin on the bottom of one's feet. Particularly the toes. The new building looks like it is going to be beautiful. I wish you luck on completion by January 2018! Update from October 2020... Cabo Villas/Cachet Beach Club is still my favorite place in Cabo. Staff is super friendly and courteous, and observed healthy practices by wearing masks. They kept surfaces really clean, especially those high touch areas. I was told that the resort maintained an occupancy of no more than 50%. Could definitely see that. However, in the beach club that was not readily apparent. Although I regularly practiced mask wearing around the resort, other guests did not. I suppose that's their prerogative. After 15 years, the units still look a little staid and could use a few touch-ups here and there. New building that is still under construction looks like it will be beautiful once complete... if the models are any indication.Corazón Cabo  It's not what it once was. Yes it's larger and more modern and caters to a younger crowd... but I will be honest and say I miss the intimate setting. Update April 2022: The new building is finished and gorgeous. The 2 and 3 bedroom suites are spacious and well appointed. However the older building in front of the infinity pool and closest to the beach are looking dated and in need of some paint particularly on the beach front balconies. The walls and floors are still  thin and sounds from the next room and outside are easily heard. The electronic candles don't have batteries or the batteries are dead. More than one poolside chair had a ripped seam. Accessibility might be challenging for those with mobility issues. Lots of stairs. There are elevators but you have to navigate a maze of levels between older and newer buildings to access them as well as reaching any of the pools, of which there are 4. So depending on what you're looking for-- crowded pool decks and a mish mash of music pumping from different levels all sounding like a cacophony of sound, then this place is for you. Kudos to all the working staff from the front desk, to the cleaning staff, to the bartenders. Super nice people aiming to satisfy my needs and wants. grade A You don't get a location much better than this this close to town and on the beach. grade A+ caveat- be prepared to cough up some coin to and from the airport. New building and rooftop Pool and bar. A- You have to book a reservation to be pool side because the area is currently small... apparently to be expanded later. The problem was I made a reservation for 11am and the "concierge" had me down for 10:30. So when I arrived at 11, I had lost my lounge chair.  They made up for it in about 45 minutes and located a chair for me. Check out- watch for added expenses not mentioned at check-in, like donations to Children foundation and Resort fees that look suspiciously look like wifi charges that they supposedly waived. Also, breakfast was complimentary, but it too showed up on...

We booked this resort for a close friends wedding. Upon check in we were greeted by the front desk staff. Check in took quite a while. We were told by Jesus everything had to be charged to the room and they wanted a credit card on file. After confirming that wasn’t true we were then checked in. We were escorted by a woman named Laticia that booked us for their vacation club/time share presentation. We had to put a cash deposit down for their presentation. After a long day of traveling we were exhausted. The elevators and floors were tricky so we asked for a map at the front desk and they did not have one. We had to get off one elevator walk around and get on another elevator to get to our room. We went to get food on the top floor which was a brewery. The food was good and there was live entertainment that was good as well. We get back to the room and the TVs are stuck on a promotional video about room service. We were exhausted so we would handle it the following day. We went to the presentation which they repeatedly explained it’s not a time share but a vacation club. The presentation was good until it came time to invest and they asked for 18k down. Once we declined they became quite pushy and wouldn’t accept no for an answer. We decided we would relax in one of the beautiful pools. We went to the top floor which has amazing views but we’re told we needed a reservation to get in the pool. While the place appeared empty there were no open reservations for our entire stay. We went to a different pool and enjoyed pool side drinks and food. The wait staff were very kind. We notified Jesus the TV was not working and we needed more wash cloths as we were only provided 1 in the room and we’re told they would send some one. We waited for hours and called back 3x before we got housekeeping to bring another wash cloth and towel. No one ever came for the tv. I went to the front desk and let them know and was told their tech dept would have to handle it . They sent some one 2 hours later that had no clue what to do because he was maintenance . I went to the desk and was told the tech dept was gone for the day. The next day was our friends wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and the wait staff was great ! We enjoyed the beautiful views. After dinner I headed over to the desk notifying Jose that again for the third day it wasn’t fixed. He said he noted it but he will look into it. Day 4 we visited more restaurants on the resort and went on a sunset boat ride on the marina. When we got back no one was able to help us. We went back to the room to heat up our food. As soon as we got back we noticed 2 roaches crawling off the dishes. We were absolutely disgusted at that point. We only had 1 more night. Upon leaving we couldn’t get any assistance setting up a shuttle as we did when we arrived however it was quite easy to catch a cab to the airport. I gave this location a 2 star rating based off the customer service and condition of the room. If I had to rate the wait staff at the restaurants , pools, and lounge areas it would be 5 stars. The front desk staff were very little to no help. We were told they were overwhelmed by booking multiple weddings that weekend. One alone was over 100 guest. While I understand how stressful that could be the guest should not be negatively impacted due to the lack of preparation for a booking the resort accepted. While we are already planning our next trip to Mexico unfortunately we will not be booking with Corazon los Cabos. I wish we would have had a better experience, the view is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be looking at other “vacation clubs” in the area to make this a regular...

Corazon Towers is the best place to stay. I've not had a bad view of the ocean yet. I am a Timeshare holder. . My last stay was 4 nights and I was with My 2 girlfriend's. We decided beforehand that We would do the All Inclusive for 3 days of Our 4 nights there. Warning ⚠️ You are limited to a specific menu and alcoholic drinks, and you are limited on the hours you can use it. From 11AM the 1st day until 11AM your 3rd day. Not exactly 3 full days for the cost. We arrived at 5PM. We had until 7PM to eat and drink at the lower pool. We like the menu there. Then, We find out We can only order off a specific menu. It's like We are dirt for doing the All Inclusive. So, We definitely didn't get Our money's worth the 1st day which was a Sunday, arriving so late, but We had no other choice. Monday and Tuesday were the only days We got enough for Our money, but with the limited menu. I went to the upper pool and asked for a White Russian. The alcohol was allowed on the All Inclusive. But, the bartender had no idea how to make One. It was so bad, I threw it away. 3 ingredients and he was clueless. They are usually very good with English there. But, I never went back to that upper pool bar for anything. Because, I am a Timeshare holder I could go to the Brewery and listen to live music for 30% off. I still don't understand after all these years, this Bar is not a part of the Resort. It's like They discourage you from going. It's not a bad place to hang out. Then you have the Rooftop Bar. They used to change even Members $20 just to go up there. Now, They allow it, but you must spend $50 minimum to go up there. There's a lap pool that is useless for most people visiting, and it's pretty windy up there. Everything has gone up in price, so just a couple drinks would run $50 easily. Plus, you would probably want to order an appetizer, so you'd have no problem spending $50. But, to Require it is just beyond Me if They really want people to enjoy it and go up there. It is the tallest building down there and if you stay in the Tower. The rooms are fully equipped with pot's and pans, a blender, coffee maker etc.. So, as We have found if you're staying a full week, go to Fresco vs Walmart because if you don't know Espanol you won't know what your buying and nobody speaks English. My point is make your own meals and save a lot of money!! They have a Microwave and oven in every unit as far as I know. I'm sure some may only come with a refrigerator. The best rooms come with everything you need. And, I always tip well and even leave a tip for the Maid service. They're all hard workers and get paid nothing compared to the USA. Our pool bar attendant only makes $7 a day and he works his butt off all day in the heat. Treat Them the way you would want to be treated and show it by a generous tip. They will remember you and give you VIP treatment the rest of your stay there. Lot's of activities to do also. They Pressure you every time you go to go through a Timeshare review. It's such a waste of your time. The biggest thing They need to improve is to put a little Store on the property. My friend got sick and really needed some crackers or soup, but, not even the restaurants had anything available. A Starbucks would be a great addition too! Unless you have a lot of money, don't bother with the Timeshare presentation! It's a waste of your whole day. They'll tell you it's just for breakfast, but believe Me, They won't give up easily to Sell you and they give you plenty of alcohol to make you NOT make the best decisions on purpose! Enjoy...
