MindBody Pilates Studio CORDOBA — Local services in Mexico City

I went to this studio as it was around the corner from my place in Roma and therefore very conveniently located. However, the space is quite run down, and not very beautiful. The instructors are average, though some better than others. The environment and staff are not very friendly. At the time they did not have an easy way to book.

I used to do Pilates every day there and would consider myself a good customer. When I became pregnant they refused to let me join the group classes and instead insisted I took pre-natal or quite expensive private classes. The pre-natal classes were in the middle of the day, a time that only if you were not working would be possible, and infrequent. I ended up taking the private classes for a while but ultimately stopped as just didn’t like the overall vibe of the studio, which never made me feel very welcome.

Eventually, I found a different studio in Condesa that welcomed me warmly during two of my pregnancies (only asked for my doctor to write a note saying I was in good health). They have now opened a studio in Roma too. The teachers, the space and the booking system are all infinitely better and overall it competes at an international standard as far as Pilates studios go.

There are other, better options available now! I would recommend that they work on how to create a more positive, friendly, professional and convenient customer experience and make some upgrades to the design of the studio if they want to maintain...

I attended three classes here while on holiday in Roma and they were great! Ariadna was particularly good as was Selene. These were my first reformer classes though I regularly do mat classes on my own and in a studio and it was fun and challenging to try reformer. One point I would raise, though, was that the classes I took were all billed as ‘from beginner to Intermediate’ (de principiante a intermedio) though in fact they varied wildly and the instructors didn’t really offer any modifications (except Ariadna, a bit). I would suggest that the booking site clarify this to help people choose the right level. Otherwise very happy...

Este estudio es de los peores en la zona. Tal parece que el blanco es lo mejor, cuando es de lo peor: no hay mantenimiento en los reformers, salen cucarachas en las noches, la música que ponen es aburridisima y tediosa, muchas clientas nos quejábamos en recepción y lo único que nos decían es que así lo quiere la dueña y la calidad de las clases bajaron por completo. Primero la instructora Diana yéndose, luego Victor y ahora cada vez menos viene Ariadna. Carlos es de los pocos que son buenos y le pagaban lo mínimo, conozco a la dueña del estudio ya que llevo años yendo (6 para ser específica) pero en definitiva esta semana decidí dejar de ir. Y eso no es lo peor, siempre hubo mucha rotación de recepción hasta que estaban 4 chicas pero de la noche a la mañana, solo quedaba 1 y a mi parecer la más inútil ya que no da seguimiento (muchas veces me acerqué con ella y JAMÁS me resolvió), hasta que me acerqué a una chaparrita de la mañana o en su caso con las dos de la tarde. Llegué a tener más contacto con una chica de cabello rizado de lentes y era muy linda, amable y atenta, pero ya se veía harta y que lástima que no la cuidaran ya que era de las mejores dando servicio de atención al cliente. Y no tiene mucho que se fueron esas 3 chicas pero es un caos, no me dieron seguimiento con una duda que tenia y tampoco con un pago de mi paquete por lo que preferí mejor ya no ir, me hartó como las que están ahora de recepción ni una es buena para aclarar dudas o saber qué decirme o cómo orientarme.
