Had the best Canal tour in the city. It was a covered boat with heating. Started the tour from where the Sea palace is located. The boat departed on time. It was not over crowded or packed. There was enough space to walk around, change seats on both sides of the boat.

Free flowing unlimited wine and beer was also a big plus. Also the Christmas cake that was served!

The captain and the crew of the boat were very friendly and helped to serve the drinks whenever needed. It was also available for us to pick up too if needed.

They were sharing detailed experiences of each and everyone of the artwork that was displayed so that everyone understood the message that was meant to be conveyed to everyone.

It was such a very homely experience with a wonderful crew. Would recommend this over the touristy boats...

Had an Amsterdam light festival tour with them and the captain was only shouting commentary in Dutch despite the fact that half the boat was not speaking it. He was not leaving the time to his kind colleague to try and translate for us. After 20 minutes of this I confronted him and asked if he could slow down and give his colleague the time to translate or even do himself half in Dutch and half in English. He strongly refused and even called me a liar for saying that half of us was not enjoying the experience. He rudely cited that the owners of the boat told him to do only Dutch. A very rude person. I can highly recommend an Amsterdam canal tour with BOOOT. We had a great tour at the Amsterdam Light Festival in a very cosy boat sitting on heated pillows and sheepskins, drinking Glühwein and hot chocolate while enjoying a spectacular view through the Amsterdam canals by night. Very professional and friendly staff! The personal atmosphere makes a great difference to the several regular canal cruise companies in Amsterdam. Definately worth a 5...
