Discover Tekapo Accommodation — Local services in South Island

I've reviewed on Airbnb but I thought Discover Tekapo Accommodation deserves public recognition!

The staff are friendly, helpful and gave recommendations on less touristy places that we could consider venturing to since we planned to stay at Tekapo for 3 nights. Importantly, the accommodation we stayed was amazing (spacious, great unobstructed views, clean, well equipped with a huge electric fireplace, everything you could ask for). We drove for a mere 5 minutes in complete darkness before reaching the lake itself to enjoy southern lights and the Milky Way too!

We left slightly later than the check-out time and the staff were nice about it.

We would like to give more than 5 stars to the entire team at Discover Tekapo. We were caught out by booking into a very badly advertised place for a night we were very fortunate that they not only had a wonderful place available, but also that they allowed us to check in early. Every interaction we had with them was another excellent example of fantastic customer service. We Will be back and will book through them again. We have been using Discover Tekapo for our Tekapo accommodation for 6 or 7 years now. The team are amazing to deal with, booking confirmations are almost immediate, communication is easy and frequent via email and the standard of the accommodation is superb. All places we have stayed are very clean and tidy and if there are any issues they are dealt with straight away. Check in is seamless and it’s always great to see Alex’s friendly face again.
