Overall, it was a pretty good experience here. A good selection of Manga and anime related merchandise. I do however feel like there could be a lot more. There was a lot of space in the store which I felt was a little bit wasted as there was plenty of space to Install more bookshelves for an even greater selection. It doesn't compare to an anime/manga shop that you would find in Japan, but it does certainly have a good selection of the better known manga. The store was also a tad hot for my likings, but that's just me.

The store is atop a hill which is steep in places, but it is only a short 5 minute walk from Queen Street. The hill does make it a bit harder to access for those who are unfit, but there is on street parking out front should you be unable to make the walk yourself.

Price wise, they were fairly reasonable and are nearly identical to cost of online retailers plus you don't have to pay shipping if you go into the store so you do end up saving a bit compared to ordering online.

All in all, its a pretty good spot if you want to find some new manga to read as they do keep up to date with...

I have wanted to go there for the longest time an finally got the chance to go just the other day it looks quiet small from the outside but it pretty big on the inside, and when I tel you they have everything believe me they had everything from horror to romance to fantasy, you name it they even have a huge selection of BL and GL, the prices are pretty damn good for the fact that we live in NZ and if they also have Coffee as it is a cafe and have a lot of other neat items like figures and Anime also lots of Japanese Snacks and Drinks and an area to sit and chat with friends. staff are very friendly and are happy to help, if you love anything Manga or Anime or even just want to browse I would definitely recommend going there I easily spent $100 bucks there and am going to go in the weekends again to finish some of my series and if your a BL or GL fan do not be afraid to be judged for what you enjoy reading,...
