There is a memorial obelisk here and one can enjoy the calm surrounded by huge trees whose trunk touch down the ground at various places. The tree and the green patch make this a very unique place. The triangular shape of the park is unique too and allows entry into it from the bordering Emily Place and Shortland Street. A nice place to come for a short stroll in one's lunch...
