Read moreOrdered, send a note with 5 pictures from their website and google map review. Try to leave room for creation, understand the flower varies depending on season. Funny thing is that my bouquet ex-packer gave me a combination of what I listed as a colour option, clearly, she did not read the note and thought the colour option was the same as the colour combination. When I tried to communicate with her, I asked her politely 'could you help to change....' but her tone was so bad, angry and wanted to blame everything on me, feels like the ugly bouquet is my fault and I should not ask to change it. She kept repeating one orange flower picture from the note, but it is totally different from what I get. Hey, hey, I'm just a customer, never expect to have such a cold conversation. What an amazing start to my special day. Of course, different people have different tastes, but a mix of orange/purple/white/pink does not make any sense, people can tell which is a good taste or bad. Worst experience I ever had in a florist store. 2 stars for the other stuff, they help me to repack the flower, really nice, efficient. Thank...
Read moreMy brother, who lives overseas, ordered a birthday bouquet for me from The Botanist Florist in Newmarket. The delivery was scheduled for Easter Monday, but due to a mistake with the address, I only received the flowers two days later. When the bouquet finally arrived, it was very underwhelming. The flowers did not look fresh, and the arrangement included just three tired-looking roses alongside random regular flowers and weeds and branches that honestly looked like they were picked from the side of the road. The bouquet was also wrapped in stiff, white paper, which made it feel cold and uninviting — not at all what you'd expect for a special occasion. My brother put time and money into this gift, and it's upsetting that the end result was so poor. I’ve tried to contact The Botanist via email to share this feedback, but their system rejected my messages — making it impossible to even reach them. I’m leaving this review so others are aware before placing an order. A business should stand by its products and at the very least, be contactable when...
