An amazing experience from the get go. Prompt replies via email. Very Comfortable vehicle. Great explanation about the whole process of getting to the desired destination. It was a cloudy day and bad weather overall in Tromso but that’s the unpredictable nature. They really went all out and beyond to find us the perfect spot for the northern lights sightings. Even in this bad weather and supposedly bad night( ai can only imagined a good night) we saw loads and at the very end about 12:30 am we saw a dancing aroura borealis which was unbelievable and a sight I will never forget! They also took lots of photos from a professional camera with limitless quantities as you wish which was a really bonus. Our guide/ driver was excellent in every way( give him a raise already😘🤣) I’m looking forward for the photos tomorrow. But here are my own ( note- please google/YouTube on how to take good photos before doing this tour as it will help 100%. It’s nothing like being able to do it yourself too.) Also as it will probably be a long tour be ready and have food beforehand or buy at the toilet break stop shop🤣another thing is maybe also email them and ask in advanced when is the best time to do it and it will definitely help. If ever I’m in Tromso again I will find them again for another unforgettable tour....

I don't know why this company doesn't have more reviews, they were AWESOME! Spiro and his family offered an extraordinary experience.

When you book, you share your snowsuit and boot size with your hosts, who are happy to provide extra equipment at no costs and before your adventure, they share clear and easy instructions and expectations for the night.

Once we met up with the rest of our tour (12 ppl total) we drove almost 2 hours to see the lights and it paid off!! After finding the perfect secluded spot, Spiro built a fire, served a deliciously light warm fish soup (with fish they caught!), and encouraged guests to cook their own hot dogs and marshmallows over the open fire (which were also provided) . We especially loved that Spiro drove a little bit further than the other tours to find a place that was super dark and there were no other groups (we passed a few spots on the way with 75+ people already parked). Then to top it off, they bring a professional camera and take photos of the lights, and you with the lights, and provide a digital album of the shots the next morning.

We had an unforgettable, possibly once-in-a-lifetime experience chasing the Aurora, all thanks to Spiros, our guide at Spirit in The Sky Tours. Firstly, the pick-up location is a convenient location in the town center of Tromso, walking distance from our hotel. The pick-up was a comfortable Mercedes Mini-van, which was spacious and comfortable and a smooth ride. The minivan fits about 10 or so people, definitely much more "private" than the big bus tours. Spiros our guide not only drove us to chase the lights, he was also a professional at taking photographs of us with the aurora, which required professional gear, ie Sony full-frame camera, wide lenses, flash, and a tripod. To top things off, he set up a campfire where we had hot chocolate, sausages, and marshmallows where we enjoyed together under the dancing northern lights. Luck was also on our side as the night was clear and the aurora activity was strong. It was an unforgettable experience and I highly...
