Peppes Pizza - Tromsø — Restaurant in Tromsø

It was the birthday of my boyfriend and the two of us wanted to eat at Peppes with the birthday deal ( All you can eat Pizza, one drink and surprise for birthday Person for 149kr pp). In advance we asked at another Peppes if the deal is working for two persons and adults as weil. They said yes of course. At the reservation at Peppes Tromsø we asked again if the deal is working like that. They said yes , so we booked a table. Arriving at Peppes, nobody knew what we are talking about. Than they said its not working because of Corona. Than they said its not working because we are just two people and no kids. So we called again where we reservated our table. They said again that the deal is like it was promised and they will call the Restaurant. After the call they suddenly also said that the deal here is just for 6 people or more.we were really disapponited because we were really looking forward for this birthday dinner. In the end we paid over 500kr, were not full and there wasnt even anything birthday like for my boyfriend. So not good service from Peppe, we cant recommand because they give you wrong information. Only positive thing is that the Manager gave us at least one extra Pizza for free because we still weere so hungry. So dont trust the information at the Website or what they tell...

I checked the reviews before I went in today and saw some negative reviews about the service.like the service was slow and not having enough staff. Well unfortunately I have to agree.sorry.after I went in I was kept waiting to be seated.it was not even busy and had to ask sb to let them know I am just waiting and felt ignored.I got a table and was asked what I wanna order.I ordered a latte that I got within 10 minutes I believe and my pizza arrived in 20.that is fine.the guy who served me was very attentive but seemed to be very busy on his own.you need patience if you go in.I waited also 10 minutes to even get an eye contact and ask for the bill.and waited again cos he took the bill to 3 other tables and brought me the wrong one then.Ketchup was empty and I took another one from another table which was also empty.no chance to get another one.pizza was just ok.after paying I was left there at the table with the card machine that eventually I took it back to them saying that I paid for it and wanna go.I will not go...

Out of three times we went here, we only succeeded in getting a table once of those times. We kept coming back thinking if it's so popular it must be goof! But we were sadly mistaken...

Upon entering the restaurant, we were 'acknowledged' by a waiter as opposed to being greeted and briefly escorted to a table right in the corner away from civilisation or humanity.

Once sat, we waited around twenty minutes to order, which was OK, again no courteousness or any of that. Finally ordered and waiting started took about ten minutes. Following this it was a hunger stricken wait of around thirty mins for mains which in my opinion was too long. Now worst of all when the pizza came it had a strong bitter taste which did not suit the taste buds at all.

So all in all a pretty disappointing experience and to be honest I'm 71% sure that the pursuing stomach issues were due to this pizza.

Lesson learnt however, next time I'll be sticking to Milano Pizza round...
