ABY Bistro — Restaurant in Pasay

Loads of people mentioned the good ambiance and drinks and it's definitely good for that but the food is nothing to sing about. Ordered 4 different dishes but none of them were good. The sisling was bland and had to be sent back for more flavour to be added. When we got it back it was better but still not tasty like other places around or in Moa. The baked bangus was overpowered by this weird creme cheese on top, it was also burnt and barely any meat left. The baked fish fillet tasted as if it was from a frozen section at the supermarket and not fresh. Several bits had to be spit back out because it tasted funny. Fish and chips was fine, too oily but best thing on the menu by far. Still, it was nothing to be too happy about. Disappointed also that it was served with crisps and not actual chips (or fries).

Either way, if you come here for the bar and booze, it's a nice place, but food was NOT worth it at all.

We're very grateful though for the really nice staff, they were very accommodating of our needs and requests and were very kind. I feel sorry I couldn't have appreciated the experience...

OK the ambience, the vibe and the dj that was there were great... My complaint here is the pricing... They show a menu that has a certain price on the drinks and the food but then when your bill comes out.. It's ten percent more and inflated. Their explanation was that they haven't updated all their menu prices on the markup and showed me a price of paper with the mark ups... That isn't my problem I look at a menu agree to a price and that is what I expect to be on my bill. Really poor management decision and customer service I am not sure if I will come back again and spend my money in a place that does this. It's...

Please don't be mistaken by the word "Bistro", it is not! The food is no more than bar snacks, and not very good at that. Outside, Steak & Chips was advertised in 'big' letters, but we were told this was not available, the Deep Fried Seafood Platter wasn't cooked on the inside and the 'Gambas' tasted off, the Nachos had very little cheese or sauce and the cocktails we were served contained very little if no alcohol at all.....on the plus side, I can imagine the bar will be a good place for young people to meet, but...
