A great hotel located near the center. Very nice staff. I do not recommend eating breakfast. I do not recommend it not only here, but in almost all hotels in Poland, because you can eat much cheaper in the city, and Polish food is very tasty. We will definitely return to this great hotel!

A hotel is quite small, the room we got was also small, however it was clean. we were able to settle without waiting for the check in time because the room was ready - it was extremely convenient for us. Location is quite central, many places to eat around. Worth its price

Nice hotel within 10 minutes walk of the old town attractions. Really well equipped, large room, with comfy sofa and bed. Our room had a balcony too. Staff are welcoming and helpful. A 3 star hotel rating doesn't do it justice. Would highly recommend.

Do NOT stay here.

I rarely write reviews, but couldn't help this time. If I had three thumbs, I'd give it three thumbs down. The service. The room(s). The amenities. The plumbing. I just couldn't believe how great this place seemed, based on the photos and online reviews. Reality: Absolutely underwhelming.

Perhaps they managed to hide or delete the negative reviews ... ?

Customer Service: We went out of our way to be courteous and approachable, but that was not mutual. I asked for compensation due to the unavailable private parking - before we knew about no climate control, noisy interior location, no working internet, and the shower drain that immediately backed up, and nearly flooded out the bathroom door! The hotel clerk became defensive and offensive - and generally unapologetic. After she called the manager, she became even more bold and rude.

Parking: I specifically booked this hotel for the parking - which was only described as, "free parking." Private parking was attractive as I was traveling with a lot of luggage - which we'd leave in the car for an early-morning flight. Upon arrival, the parking was full, and the desk agent was exceptionally defensive about the website "clearly stating" parking was first come, first served, and could not support the entire hotel. This was our first impression of the hotel, and she was adamant that we'd made an error that left us in a bad situation that didn't affect her - so she frankly didn't care. She contacted the manager by phone at our request, who refused to support us.

Room: I was stuffed into a sweltering hot room on the ground floor. I also booked a room for my friends - directly above me on the next floor. Both rooms hadn't had the windows open, and were above 25 degrees! Both rooms had fans and windows, which definitely should have been on before any guests arrived. No matter what we did, we couldn't get the room cool enough for a decent night's rest.

Internet: The website advertised internet. Our systems found the connection upstairs, but not downstairs in my room. At this point, I just didn't want to deal with the rude woman at the front desk, and dealt with another disappointment.

Plumbing: Again - the basics killed this place. The shower drain - which is actually the same tile room as the toilet and sink - was backed up when I turned it on. The water filled up the bathroom so fast, I barely caught the overflowing water from seeping under the door into the room. Again, at this point, I just mopped up the water with all the available towels (which were actually nice and soft - so kudos there), grabbed my things and left for the airport.

Hotel Bonum has great potential to be a solid hotel - and in a great location! Attention to the most simple basics of hotel management, and customer service, could have easily made our stay as great as we'd hoped. Instead, we avoided the room(s) and the staff. I certainly hope...

The hotel is easy to find and the street to follow is tartaczna as you turn into the street you will see a large blue vertical sign in the distance.|The hotel is situated near the monument/ memorial to the defenders of the post office(WW2) and the post office museum .|we arrived around 1.30 in the afternoon and were allowed to check in straight away. The reception is staffed 24 hours and all the staff speak good English and are really nice and willing to help whatever the issue.|Town maps and a free city guide is available from the reception.|The rooms are good, wood flooring ,flat screen TV, tea and coffee with kettle, and a fridge, and a safe. Unfortunately the TV did not have any english speaking channels. The hotel also provides two bottles of water per day complimentary replenished by the housekeeping staff. The air conditioning works well and the bed is comfortable if very soft.|The wardrobe however was a bit cramped and dark squeezed in behind the door .The shower was good with fair water pressure and enough space to be comfortable.|We borrowed an electrical adaptor from reception and one of the lovely staff obtained a pint glass from the restaurant for me.|Breakfast provides an excellent choice hot polish sausage/bacon bread for toast, rye bread ,cooked meats ,cheeses ,salad ,fresh fruit ,yoghurts ,small sweet cakes teas /coffees and fruit juices .You also have the option of omelette, scrambled egg, fried egg, poached eggs or pancakes freshly cooked to order. Breakfast is served from 7.00am -11.00am daily in the basement restaurant.|There is a small supermarket on the corner Zabko which sells water ,beers ,soft drinks ,biscuits, confectionery ,crisps and hot dogs.|Next to that on the same street is also a good Mexican restaurant with seating outside.|We asked the reception to book us a taxi for the airport at 4.00am on our departure day which was excellent "Neptune taxis".|However the lady on reception failed to make the wake up call at 3.30am that we had asked for and we just made the booking.|The hotel location was also handy for the tourist sites 10 minutes from the waterfront promenade ,15 mins from WW2...

First impressions of the hotel were ok checked in fine and looked clean and tidy , downside we asked for some suggestions on where to go for a drink but the receptionist seemed unsure and just gave us a map and one suggestion of which she didn’t write down so by the time we’d dumped our bags in the room and gone out we had forgotten !! |Room was clean and tidy and beds were really comfy and crispy clean sheets and towels. Room was a good size for two people and a decent sized shower that again was clean and had plenty of running hot water. We don’t watch much tv on holiday but there usually is the world service on or something but no English channels at all which didn’t worry us so much . |The hotel is situated close to the river we and only a short walk from main promenade which was great. |Downside the hotel is a little noisy which is beyond the staffs control really walls are thin and you can hear other guests in their rooms . I am a light sleeper so struggled with this a little but didn’t complain as it is not something they can do anything about. Hotel is situated in a housing estate and there was issues with noisy members of the public which again is beyond the hotels control . |Overall a nice hotel and we didn’t have any...
