Can't believe I didn't come here sooner. I tried about 5 different 'Vietnamese' restaurants since I've been here 2 1/2 months ago and all were not very authentic, all were run by Koreans and a bit expensive because mostly chain restaurants. This place is the closest you'll get in Seoul, place is run by local Vietnamese people who know how to make real Vietnamese food. Such good value too, my go to place from now on, but quite a long distance from where I'm staying ๐Ÿ˜ช๐Ÿ˜ช๐Ÿ˜ช 40 minutes on subway, but I think it's worth travelling for.

You have to order through your phone via nfc so itโ€™s a little weird to be honest. They still accept cash. The pho and pork on rice was really flavourful and is 9000 won each so itโ€™s really cheap. One negative thing is they use the chin su chilli sauce instead of hoisin and sriracha sauce which are my go toโ€™s. The other thing is the beef in the pho is really chewy but for the price I think it canโ€™t be helped. The atmosphere is quite nice with lanterns and decor all over the shop.

Pho Hang, located in an alley near Exit 3 of Dongdaemun Station, makes you feel like you are in Vietnam as soon as you walk into the restaurant: the interior of the restaurant, the owner and staff who work here, and even the majority of Vietnamese customers. I've tried Beef Pho and Nem Lui Nuong, and both were really good! ๐Ÿ‘ If you can't eat cilantro, you can ask them to take it out when ordering. Many people say Banh Xeo is delicious in Naver reviews, so I gonna try it next time.
