Visited here on July 1st 2017. My 8 year old son is a huge cat lover. I think its a neat idea, but it could have been way better. This place smelled BAD! I have a cat, and I know i have to clean the box alot, it smells just like 20 cats live there. I would have expected them to do a better job of cleaning it. The cats were mostly pissy. which is typical of a cat. They didn't like any toys provided. We even brought a laser pointer from home, thinking they would like that, but nope. Not one cat wanted to play. Finally my son found one cat, Bella that was sweet and let him pet her alot. the price to get in is about $10 and you get one drink with that. The people working there aren't very friendly, but that may just be a Seoul thing, since I didn't find them to be particularly friendly in the city. Overall. My son didn't want to go back, when asked a second time. Fun novelty for a one time thing. The cats a very cute though, and they seemed...
Read moreNot sure if it was the timing or just different workers at this shift but we want in around 1900 and sat there awkwardly drinking our $12 tea while the lady started playing with the cats for a few minutes. When she stopped, all the cats had essentially gone to or near her. Spent about an hour just hoping either of the two working there would make an effort to make it worth the time and money. Could have played near us or sat near us or just gone behind the counter but hardly paid us any attention, barely more than the cats. Given that I could have bought 12 bottles of soju for what I paid to sit and drink a 2 cent Lipton tea, pretty dissatisfied. Update: another couple came in. Was told and pointed out to the toys. Seemed to have...
Read moreWell, these places are certainly all the rage in 2018. Calling this place a cat cafe is misleading. While it may have an ample number of the furry little critters the attention paid to the cafe aspect is, in a word, woeful. If it's possible to make water just off the boil taste any worse than it already does then this place knows how. And yes the cats were incredibly cute and yes the kids loved it but really? What a rip off! Fifty dollars US just to get among the scratching, meowing, overly Kawai cuteness. The strangest tourist trap I've ever known. Would not recommend unless you're seriously into...
