We’ve explored several shopping districts in Seoul, but Insadong is by far our favorite. It offers high-quality items and unique merchandise. We discovered fascinating shops, including one that specializes in watchmaking, another selling wooden mobile covers that can be engraved with custom designs, and several stores featuring arts, crafts, and handmade goods.
The street itself is clean and spacious, and the side alleys are home to charming traditional buildings with a variety of desserts, cafes, and restaurants. While the prices are slightly higher than places like Namdaemun, Dongdaemun, Hongdae, and Myeongdong, the relaxed atmosphere and vibe make it worth it.
