Weekdays lunch time. There's a Q machine in front of the store (English language option available). Scan the QR code and get your Q number. We got 20 pple (Q number) ahead of us and only waited abt 20mins before the notification came in to go into the restaurant. After u inform the counter staff of your number, you still have to wait along with other customers inside the restaurant's small sitting area. Took another 20 mins wait before we were ushered in. Please ask for the Deluxe rice set (Note: the English menu is slightly different from the Korean menu - with additional 2000 won(each set), u can have the rice in hotpot instead of rice in a normal bowl). Food is amazing. The beef soybean paste stew is the best we had in Seoul so far. The kimchi side dish is out of this world. We can't find this kimchi anywhere else. They also provide their own Herb Salt on the table for you to sprinkle onto meat dishes. Highly recommended. Would definitely return...

Had a fantastic experience at Doma in Insadong! The food is incredibly authentic and full of flavor. I tried the soybean stew, which was rich and comforting, and the charcoal-grilled mackerel had an amazing smoky flavor that was spot on. The bibimbap was also excellent—fresh, colorful, and satisfying. Portions were generous, and the side dishes complemented the mains perfectly.

The pricing was reasonable for the quality, with dishes like the grilled mackerel set at ₩16,000 and the yukhoe bibimbap at ₩18,000. The total came to ₩40,500, and it was well worth it! The staff were friendly, and some spoke English, making the experience even better. The ambiance is cozy and traditional, adding to the authentic feel of the meal. If you’re looking for a real taste of Korea in a relaxed setting, this is the...

I went early just as it opened for dinner. Got handed an English set menu. Ordered the grilled Iberico pork shoulder set. The meat was nicely grilled as was the veg but there was nothing uniquely Korean about it. The highlight was the bubbling stew which was really good. Truly unique and distinct. I’d say that justifies grabbing a meal here. Maybe there other options which are tastier and more adventurous in the Korean menu. I shoulda asked. A couple of the staff spoke English when...

A very, very nice place for a traditional Korean bean paste (dhenjang) soup restaurant. Very impressed. It doesn't get any better than this. Located in the heart of Insadong, the interior is very traditional hanok looking, clean, and well decorated. Food is fabulous, well-portioned, and priced perfectly. Example: a set consisting of bean paste soup and bibimbop is KRW8,000...tastes great at a great price! Staff is also very nice. Definitely recommend.
