I bought a ring from Juan XXIII and unfortunately, I’m very disappointed. I found a design I really liked, but it wasn’t available in my size. They offered to resize it, which doubled the price from €125 to €250 due to the size difference. I agreed because I genuinely liked the design.

When I received the ring, there was a visible crack and other marks. On top of that, the gold plating started wearing off after just two days, even though I had been very careful and didn’t wear it while washing my hands or showering. We went back to the store, and they explained that a “joint” can appear when resizing that much — something they never mentioned beforehand. They polished the ring in-store, but all the plating was gone. When I pointed that out, they simply said: “It’s a silver ring, the plating disappears.”

Eventually, they agreed to re-plate the ring and fix the damage. But when I picked it up again, the crack was still there. I told them I wanted to return the ring because it was a damaged product, but they said they don’t do returns. This isn’t about me changing my mind — it’s about receiving something that was poorly made.

Now, three weeks later, after only wearing the ring five times, the plating is gone again. I’ve taken very good care of it, so this is not normal wear and tear.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Juan XXIII. If something goes wrong, don’t expect good service or proper support.

Update 2025-08-27: After i used the ring about 10 Times the plattade gold is gone and lifted weights about 12kg the ring cracked were i pointed out it was a joint. You get better quality from the peaple along the beah for...
