Honest review: Sad & disappointed I had my engagement ring resized at this store. When I received it back, the engraving on the inside was completely gone. No one had informed me that resizing could affect the engraving, and I was never asked if the ring had one to begin with. I was very sad, as this engraving had great personal meaning to me.
When I addressed this, the person in the store blamed us for not mentioning the engraving, which I found very unprofessional. If your job is to resize rings, it should be standard practice to check for engravings before making alterations.
They offered to re-engrave the ring, but only had one font option (capital letters), and since my fiancĂ© had his ring engraved at the same place and it wasnât done correctly, I didnât feel confident letting them handle mine again. The trust was already broken.
They did give us a bottle of wine, which was a kind gesture, but what I really wanted was the possibility to restore my ring elsewhere, covered by them. Accidents happen and thatâs okay, but not taking full responsibility for the damage caused is unacceptable.

While my first experience at your store was excellent, my second visit was highly disappointing. The staff at the desk this time were different, and their attitude was far from welcoming or professional.
I visited to purchase a new strap for another watch. When I bought the original watch during my first visit, I was informed that it would be possible to order the specific strap I wanted, as you are official Seiko dealers. However, the staff member I dealt with on my second visit showed me low-quality, non-genuine straps and claimed he couldnât order an official Seiko strap. He even suggested that the strap on my current watch wasnât officialâironic, since I had purchased that very watch from your store just a few months ago. Once I pointed this out, he had no response.
In the end, I went to another well-known shop in Las Américas, where the staff were incredibly friendly. They quickly contacted the appropriate person to order the strap I wanted, and I also ended up purchasing a beautiful Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 at the same time.
In short, your store lost out on a sale of around âŹ800 today due to the unprofessional and unwelcoming attitude of your staff.
