Although my friend recommended this pizzeria, it, unfortunately, did not live up to our expectations.
We were among the first customers that day, but unfortunately, the men's restroom lacked essential supplies such as toilet paper, hand tissues, and sufficient hand soap.
It is reasonable to expect that staff members would ensure the cleanliness and proper stocking of the restroom before opening the establishment to customers. However, based on our experience, it appears that this may not have been the case on this particular occasion.
Now the main point...the pizza!
We placed an order for five different pizzas. They were served to us in three separate attempts within a span of 15 to 20 minutes. As a result, when the first two individuals were about to finish their pizzas, I was only able to begin eating mine.
The pizzas appeared visually appealing, and their size was quite impressive. However, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing pizzas I have ever had.
In my opinion, the base of the pizza was excessively soggy and chewy. I typically enjoy eating the crust, but despite its appealing appearance, it was too chewy for my personal preference.
Another aspect that we found inconvenient was the fact that the pizza was not pre-cut before being served to our table.
My primary concern was that the pizza was larger than the plate on which it was served. Although we were provided with a pizza cutter, I found it quite challenging to cut the pizza due to its size exceeding that of the plate. Additionally, the size of the pizza resulted in certain parts of it resting on the table rather than being contained within the plate. This was particularly problematic for my daughter, who prefers her food to be kept 'clean' and on the plate instead of resting on a table that anyone could have been sat at.
Disappointing...
Read moreThe food is very tasty, the staff friendly and the place is overall quiet decent. Personally, I prefer Italian restaurants that offer less elaborated, but more abundant food. For example, the octopus carpaccio was nicely decorated and interestingly seasoned, but equivalent to a homeopathic dose. Finally, despite the overall good impression, the price/value ratio is too high for the island - there are places where you can eat similarly or better for less money (though this particular area is very touristy and if you already choose to eat there you may expect to pay more).
We recently visited this lovely authentic pizza place and had a fantastic experience.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made our meal even more enjoyable.
The menu offered lots of delicious options, catering to all tastes.
The pizzas we tried were absolutely mouth-watering and truly authentic.
One of the highlights was the open kitchen andyou can see all the action happening, which was very entertaining and added to the lively atmosphere.
The restaurant offers great value for money, making it a perfect spot for a delicious meal without breaking the bank.
It's advisable to book in advance, as we only just got the last table when we arrived.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for amazing pizza and a great...
