Bracafè — Restaurant in Barcelona

The first morning of my trip to Barca I had breakfast here: cafe solo, aqua con gas and a bikini sandwich. It’s simple and delicious, the bread is very fresh and crispy and the cafe is as you expect in Spain, strong and rich aroma’s. I had another cafe after my sandwich to start my day.

The terrace is sunny in a nice and lively area, where to locals pass by. Very relaxing vibe.

On the last day of my trip I wanted to have traditional Tortilla and I decided to go back to Bracafe. I ordered a cafe solo, aqua con gas and the Tortilla. And again, it was simple but delicious. Tourist comment . Waiting staff don't speak English. Till staff only interested in their local clientele. Really - not a fantastic experience. update.. received the following response from the owner "Why do you think waiters should speak english, Gerry? I would greatly appreciate your answer. Stopped over, with family 5. Had the most amazing service by Sandra and others. A wonderful, smiling lady with great attitude and professional. With weather touching 32 degrees, and a walk back and forth from terrace to shop, she took it all-in your stride. With customers demands, asks and others requests, always with a smile and calmness. The food, freshly made and drinks cold and good. Would recommend totally to stop over. Terrace was cool considering heat and inside was fresh with AC. Keep up...
