Such as Asian who has been living for many years in Barcelona this place is always like an oasis for me when im missing my hometown , the food are good although sometimes is not always like what we thought but it's ok and still fine and I love ambient . i invited friends from any different country quite often in there as well as my husband . But today I invited my friend (asian) to have lunch there ...and i was really disappointed and embarrassed how the lady who treated us from entrance had to ask a permit to people who was on the next table before we have the chair , I don't understand properly in French but I speak Catalan.... it sounds the lady asked if we can have the table next to them ( they were French family, definitely was rare for them to asking about it at this moment ) ...it was a surprise with red face on me. is it because of we are asian cant have table next to them ????? Can't have lunch in that restaurant ? at this time it doesn't exist racism anymore . I travelled to different countries in Europe and I've never been treated by anyone on that way . This lady supposed a new because I've never been see her before ...it was really inappropriate to treating us like that.... im asian , my skin is lovely brown, speak fluently in Catalan and Spanish. I have rights as a customer...to be served like the most of the customers with the same rights. ...one more, today all waitress seems working under pressure none smile....if the boss treated customer like that I can imagine how she treated all her staff and...

OK after my 4-5th meal here over the past year or so, I have to unf. downgrade my rating from a 4 to a 2. The past couple meals here have been so-so and the meal we just had was super disappointing. First we asked for a very dry bottle of rose and after tasting it has to send it back. We do not like doing that, but it was so sweet. Plus...why don't they offer wine by the glass? Anyhow, the spring rolls were OK but again as in previous visits arrived before our wine. I don't get it. The pad thai kai (chicken pad thai) was almost inedible the chicken was dry and the noodles were so off in their texture it was like chewing gum. You can see the difference in the photo I posted ('21 vs '22). Our server listened to our feedback, but didn't offer any suggestions or feedback to us. We weren't looking for anything free or taken off the bill but it just seemed off putting. Consistency is hard, but very necessary in this industry and we don't plan on returning here.

(previous from october '21) We just had a very nice lunch here, the space is very nice, the food is good and the service is effiicent if not slightly robotic. We had the spring rolls which showed up at our table before water or wine...kinda wish they didn't remind me they weer all pre-made but they tasted good. Then we enjoyed the chicken in green curry, it had excellent spice and the chicken was very tender, we liked it a lot it was our fave dish. We also had the veggie pad thai, also quite tasty with bamboo shoots, asparagus and peppers. We...

I’m leaving the original review below... FOOD POISONING ALERT!!! Sadly I have had to change my opinion drastically. On August 14th 2019I went there with a friend and the only thing we both had were tiger prawns (one fried rice, one curry) and the sticky mango rice. The day before and on that day we never had the same food. So fast forward to 6 hours later when we were both retching over the toilet bowl. This went on for 12 hours. I haven’t felt this wretched since I had influenza 8 years ago. So Thai Barcelona: YOU GAVE ME AND MY FRIEND FOOD POISONING!!!! Not happy at all. For the prices on the menu the least I expect is e.coli free food. Come on! So we suffered for 2 days in total. Will not go back there! Ever again. Thai Barcelona: shame on you!

OLD REVIEW FROM LAST YEAR: I have been to this restaurant three times now and I surely will come back. The service was friendly and professional and food allergies were taken seriously. The food was delicious. Yes, it is a little pricey, but the food, decor and overall atmosphere make more than up for it. And most importantly: they have the best mango sticky rice that I ever had the pleasure of eating. Just remembering makes me happy! Absolutely...

From 2 times having dinner here when we were in Barcelona last week, we can tell that starters are very tasty and quite true to authentic taste, UNTILL the main dishes our appetite was all collapsed. Curry dishes were really a joke, the flavor was far below standard, fried fish dish also was so bland, simply tomato sauces poured over it, not as fried dish with rich tastes from full of spices we have known from Thai cuisine, and the price is very expensive for such poor quality. Most of staff are not friendly from receiving guess at the lobby to seating guess, we hardly found them show their hospitality and smiling, if not to mention they were kind of arrogant. We have a feeling like they don't need customers but the other way round, because the fact is - the design and facility of this restaurant bring quite royal Thai ambience which is nice to dine in. We were served sometimes by a waitress who in charge of the center area in the restaurant, she was really arrogant and unfriendly with her service. Some waiters were a bit more friendly.

3.5 stars For starters, the ambience here is amazing. Definitely a large open space with some more private rooms as well if you are reserving with a group for a special occasion. All of us got the Classic Menu set where they served us a selection of appetizers, entrées and desserts for £40 per person. This is definitely a more pricey meal but you get to try a bunch of different dishes. The appetizers were amazing. There were spring rolls, meatballs, skewers, noodles, etc and everything was delicious. The main courses were a bit disappointing as the flavors were not as good/some of the dishes were a bit on the lukewarm side. The curries were pretty much the only main dishes I liked from the selection provided. Finally, we finished with dessert, which comes with pineapple and those were really good. Overall, the experience was decent, though I do think the restaurant should focus a bit more on making the main dishes more flavorful/authentic. Other than that, it was great!
