So wanted to buy a boxing punch bag. There were 3 on display and we quickly identified the one we wanted to buy. We located a shop assistant who was really helpful. He spoke English to us and explained that he would check if they had any in stock. He came back quickly and advised that there were none in stock and none available to buy online. We asked if we could buy the display model and he told us he would need to check with a Manager. After a couple of minutes a different member of staff spoke to us (she may have been a Manager). She confirmed that the model we wanted to buy was unavailable in any store or online, but we couldn't buy the display model because the store needs it! So, what is the point of having a product on display, with none in stock and no idea when it will be available! So Decathlon, we would have spent over €100 today, but instead we came home and ordered a similar product...

Went home and phoned decathlon who said the manager should have been able to help but he was useless..... he was nice but didn't solve my problem. In the end I managed to buy what I wanted but Decatlon wasted a lot of my time. Nice staff but powerless to help when needed. I'd give zero stars if possible as they wasted 2 hours of my time! I do understand that Web prices are at times different to store prices but as the website payment was not working and the site said I was able to buy and collect I should have been able to get help. Read moreThe RC500 odometer I bought 7 months ago stopped working after 11,390 km. I cycled to the store and brought along the defective device. After a careful check and close examination, the cycling specialist came to the conclusion there was something wrong with the sensor. He consequently allowed the replacement of the faulty item. Kudos to the team for their positive attitude and problem-solving approach. And special thanks to Rodrigo for his patience! It's only a 4-star review because the cycling textile racks displayed a limited number of items and were missing S and M sizes at the start of a 3-day weekend....
