I had one of the worst customer service experiences at MediaMarkt Madrid plaza del carmen. I went in to buy a laptop and waited for quite a long time, but no one came to assist me. When I finally approached one of the staff members standing in the Apple section, he was extremely rude and dismissive. He was chatting with two friends, laughing, and clearly not interested in helping. When I asked for assistance, he told me to “go ask his colleague with a MediaMarkt vest” .
The second employee I approached was also not intrested to help. I asked him to confirm the color of the laptop I wanted Sky Blue and he said yes, so I proceeded to the cashier. Unfortunately, the cashier was just as rude. When I spoke to her in English, she purposely replied in Spanish, even though it was clear I didn’t understand. Only after that did she switch to English, but her tone was cold and condescending.
After completing the purchase, I sat in the store to check the laptop since I m only in madrid for two days and realized it was Midnight Blue, not Sky Blue as I had been told. I felt so frustrated and upset, especially after the unpleasant treatment I had already experienced. The entire situation made me feel humiliated and disrespected.
This wasn’t just about a color mistake it was about the lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic courtesy. The staff clearly had no understanding of proper customer service or respect for international customers. I left the store feeling disappointed and honestly discriminated against.
I will never return to MediaMarkt and cannot recommend it to anyone. For a big international brand, the level of service and attitude from the employees were completely...

I bought HP laptop (14-D2000)of 600 euros last September. The price was okay and I didn't have any problem with the product itself.
However, the screen broke so I went there to fix it. I guessed it wouldn't take that long because it's current model, and the damage was only in the screen part.
One of the employees opened the upper part of the laptop to check the screen model number, and he said MediaMarkt doesn't have any parts to replace it. And he said the only way to fix is to change whole the upper part and it would cost more than 220 euros, good grief. (Even that parts are not available now, so he said I have to wait for it)
Being disapppinted I went to a small local repair shop at my village and he said he could order the screen part only and it can be fixed in 2 days.
Now I'm on my way back with the perfectly repaired laptop from that repair shop. It cost 125 euros which is around 100 euros cheaper than Media Markt repairman said.
I have been very disappointed of MediaMarkt's repair service, and I think they have to develop their supply chain for their repair parts if they are thinking of keep promoting their product insurance (I didn't have my laptop insured with them and that is the best thing I have done since 2021, indeed)
