Eric Café Pâtisserie — Local services in Marbella

No longer owned or run by Eric, (?) the individual who created the very successful business. His cakes were renowned in Marbella. This Café/Patisserie doesn't quite hit the spot due to problems with the service, and the sparse selection of Pâtisserie usually on offer. There is a huge service counter which won't take orders (see VERY insistent signage,) and one waiter who seemed to have no plan of action as how to serve the tables scattered the entire length of the aforementioned Counter. Behind which all the other staff resolutely stand with their backs to the Clientele, which is irritating when you HAVE to visit the counter to pay your bill. My wife ordered a Yoghurt based Sundae thing. Which arrived as an impenetrable lump of something yellow having obviously been kept in a deep freeze for eons beforehand....

The sponge of cakes are dry! The taste of cream is bad i smell cow! Why everything in summer is changed! The quality is the most important in summer not just for winter or autom! The first time the taste of dubai cake was fntastic but now i feel more kg butter however in the past that was just taste chocolate... The taste of berrycheescake( that decoration with berries) now i feel more eggs and taste if somthing chemical however in the past i felt it was like home-made!! About the price i can say, always was high and still high because of boutic cake... Please check the quality of cakes and special on sponge and fruits and cream that put it...

Probably the worst experience we could live on my husband’s birthday. The owner has 0 care for her clients and for the service they provide. Ruined my husband s bday after being clients for years. Went back to the shop with this disgraceful cake, they kept it! Didn’t return any money, didn’t offer any compensation, didn’t offer any other dessert, gave me her full name and I went to the customer service support and did a complaint, the floor manager came and understood the situation but nothing he could do. I would not drink a glass of water from that place even if I’d die...
