WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.. the sales lady was horrible!!!! Walked in with my friend as we saw ceramic pieces (we both love them), we are looking at them and saying between ourselves how pretty they are but unfortunately our bags are full and as it is our last day the last bit of our budget will be used on food. As we are about to leave the lady owner said to us in English ‘you shouldn’t look at the stuff like it’s utter rubbish, it is rude’ I ask her in Spanish to repeat herself but the moment she sees I speak Spanish she backs down and says ‘nothing’. My friend confirmed what she said and I confronted the owner telling her that it was not the case and that I was sad I couldn’t buy anything and she should take it as a compliment. She wouldn’t have any of it and started insulting us saying this was all rubbish. We couldn’t have left faster. Also her stuff wasn’t original we have been seeing similar if not same stuff in every shop. After leaving, we checked the reviews of this shop, and seeing so many people having the same experiences, it is clear this is not her first time. Don’t know how this shop is...
Read moreI had a very negative experience with this shop, especially with the lady owner. Me, my sister and my mum entered the shop, my sister saying goodmorning in spanish to the lady. after a while my sister left, leaving me and my mum in the shop, and that's when the lady started critizising my sister for having looked at her products 'the wrong way' (whatever that means) and for not having said goodbye. She said that this is exactly the image that the young people are leaving of themselves and that she cannot understand it. Me and my mum where shocked, she kept on saying that this is a TRADITIONAL gift shop and not some commercial one so, my sister should have gone to some other shop and not here. The behaviour of the lady was very judgemental and agressive towards us, she would rise her voice, and keep on repeating the same opinion. We left feeling very...
Read moreVery rude owner has literally chased me out of the shop for taking a photo of my partner in a hat because there were no mirrors. NO "no photos" signs around either. Has complained about tourists and shouted at me saying "you tourists think that you can do whatever you want when you leave your country". For taking a photo?!! I suggested changing to a business that isn't actually making money on tourists. If only she knew she actually chased out someone very conscious of tourism impact (actual MSc in Ecotourism graduate). I'm not surprised to see other review warning about a rude owner - absolute disgrace! Anyhow, I strongly recommend to avoid this place! Fortunately other people in Mallorca, especially rural, were...
