Back in the day this was an awesome (and free) way too get to the river and experience the tajo. Now, it feels terribly touristy and sterile - they require you to wear helmets, children are not allowed, and it cost five euros. Eventually, the second and third phase will allow you to reach all the way to the Arabic baths. I’d rather that they would have left it free access and made up for the cost in...
Read moreThe staff were helpful when buying the ticket. Everything was new but only one unisex toilet which isn't enough, there was a queue and the place wasn't that busy. The price is 5 euros and for the "camino" as it is at the moment, in my opinion, isn't worth the money. Being given a hard hat at the start makes you think you're in for some kind of extreme thrill but it's nothing of the sort. Also no price displayed at the start. Save your money and use the old trail further down the gorge - better views of the bridge, and free. I think this new path and the future phases will kind of ruin the charm of the gorge, too, as it'll introduce more man-made...
