I found the Antonio Garcia website while looking for a traditional Spanish hat and knowing I would be travelling to Seville in a few months. I even called them to make sure I knew where they were and if they were open when I was there. Sadly, after such anticipation, I arrived in Seville and despite calling the store I originally called from overseas, I could not find the store near the bullfight arena. I was directed to their store in the high street shopping area located near the City Hall. When I got there, I was shocked that they had such little stock of this iconic hat. I think they had less than 10 and none were my size. The women then suggested another to their other store a short 5–10-minute walk away. I went there and yet again was shocked at how little stock they had. Once again nothing in my size. The women in that store called the store near the bullfight arena (the one I could not find) and they also did not have stock in my size. Now I must say I am a common size. Nothing out of the ordinary. This hat is the iconic Spanish hat, not some special-order item. I guess I was expecting to see a well-stocked professional store as represented on their website. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. I should also say that the day before I was in Jerez de la frontera and I visited their store there. When I walked in the woman was having a chat with a policeman. It did not seem a professional but rather personal chat as there was a lot of laughter exchanged. She took no notice of us as customers. This store was a mess of stock all over the place, floors included. Perhaps they would have had the hat I was looking for there, but I was so upset at being ignored that I walked out. If you’re shopping for a hat in Seville or Cordoba don’t waste your time looking for this retailer. Read my other two reviews of other stores and hat makers where the service was outstanding, prices reasonable, quality very good, and a large selection from which I purchased 4 hats and a hat...
