I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Precision Airlines. My flight was delayed multiple times, and then, unexpectedly, the departure airport was changed from Arusha to Kilimanjaro.

The staff at the counter seemed completely uninformed about the situation, leaving us waiting for nearly two hours with no clear answers. Eventually, I was informed that my connecting flight from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam was fully booked and that they were rescheduling me on a later flight at 9:00 PM instead of the original 5:00 PM.

This meant we had to wait at the airport for almost five hours, which was particularly challenging with my pregnant wife.

Our flight was delayed not once, not twice, but four times – from 8:30 PM to 2:30 AM. We have another flight from Dar es Salaam at 5 AM, which we will likely miss.

The system is a complete mess. We were the first to arrive at check-in, yet the last to be checked in because the supervisor told us to wait and then started checking in others, leaving us stranded. We had to figure out ourselves that he had already started checking in passengers.

Boarding passes were written by hand. The counter staff didn’t know the flight number, arrival time, or basic information. Flights scheduled after ours departed before us. They operate on a literal first-come, first-served basis, regardless of booking time.

DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS WITH THEM! They changed airports (from Arusha to Kilimanjaro), the time, delayed the flight and in the end cancelled our flights to Zanzibar. No communication whatsoever and no clarity on the situation. We saw a day prior the flight we were supposed to have was not listed on the airport website and contacted them several times unsuccessfully. When we came to the airport, they said the flight was going. After standing in line for an hour, they said the flight was canceled.
