25 Beauty spa — Local services in Chiang Mai Province

I rarely write reviews especially negative ones. So, trust me on this. First of all, I regret that I didn’t check the review first before getting into the shop. They(the shop or the girl who did the service for me) really have the audacity to change the prices three times. Me and my friend did the foot nail cleaning and cutting at the shop. Firstly, they told me that it would only cost B300 per person. So, I agreed to do it. But when I was on the chair waiting for my nails to be cut while soaking (at that point, you cannot say no right?), they changed the price to 399B. But I still agreed to do it. When I had finished and was ready to pay at the counter, they told me that the total cost is B499 per person and total would be 998(two people). At that point, there’s no point bargaining right? I must pay the price. So, I complained a bit that the prices have changed ridiculously. But I didn’t wanna argue anymore. So, I just paid the price. And don’t get me started on the service and quality. It’s the worst. They made my toe nail bleed and hurt. The price only for cleaning the nails is actually ridiculous. Absolutely Terrible — Felt Completely Ripped Off

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had in Thailand — the only time I’ve felt truly scammed here. At first glance, the place looks cute and clean, but do NOT be fooled.

I came in asking for a simple gel manicure and basic paint pedicure. The price board said gel starts at 500 baht — but the staff never even showed me a single color under 600 baht. They just randomly typed inflated numbers into a calculator with no explanation. I ended up paying 1,000 baht, which is ridiculously overpriced for Thailand, especially for what I got.

And here’s the kicker: they didn’t even give me a real manicure or pedicure. No soaking, no cuticle work, no nail shaping — nothing. They literally just painted over my existing nails. I could have done that myself at home in 10 minutes for free.

The staff seemed indifferent, rushed, and unbothered. This place is a total rip-off and a huge waste of time and money. Avoid it...

I'm there to get my hair washed only. A chubby lady with crochet hairband had an awful attitude. I saw it's 200 for the hair wash on the menu but she said that it depends on the hair length and i need to pay 500 for it. I thought it's fine. And then, she insisted to pay by cash first. The washing is okay. But when she was drying my hair. She was like in a "giving up situation". I told her to dry it straight and she just walked away. Her other colleague with a blonde hair came to finish drying my hair which I appreciate a lot. I don't think a 500 dollars hair wash deserve this kind...
