I had a foot and back massage at the weekend and had to complain to the manager. I don't normally pay for a service until it's completed. And on this rare occasion that I agreed to pay in advance, I now have a phobia to be a mug again. They asked me, a male, if I wanted a male or female to massage me. Trying to be courteous and gender neutral, I said I don't mind. A middle-aged man arrived and spoke zero English. He didn't understand my requests. The first no-no where medical injury can arise. The bed was on the floor and neither suited to solely a foot massage I had booked, nor to a back massage I also had booked. A proper massage bed has a hole at one end where your face goes as you lie face down for 80 pct of a Thai massage. Instead, I had a pillow that was no help on a hard bed mattress. My head had to turn sideways to breathe and was uncomfortable for prolonged use. Already having a painful neck this could have created serious physical damage. So i told him to focus on my feet only. After a few gestures he finally got the message. I dont whinge, and everyone wants to earn their keep. But as I told the manager of my experience afterwards all she did was smile and apologise. She should have made an effort to reduce my charge for a totally unsatisfactory massage experience. I've had hundreds of massages in decades and none scrape as low as this one did. And not that they even asked for a quick questionnaire to ensure you are fit to undertake a massage either. There's no shortage of great modest places outside the Embassy shopping mall. TORTUROUS. We were made to wait for 15 mins after we were ushered to the room, that's like paying them for doing nothing. The women did not know how to apply proper pressure during the massage and were talking, laughing and joking among themselves sporadically throughout, which was really made it difficult for us to relax and be comfortable. We had a couple 4 hands massage with hot compress, hoping that it will help to soothe our body aches and tensions, but they simply made it worse instead. They do not seem to know what they were doing and were very clumsy in their movements, often banging into themselves and at times myself. They also had very bad body odour, so imagine having to endure for 2 hours in a small stinking room. To make sure that we did not have a chance to enjoy the experience, they kept stabbing the hot compress into the highly sensitive areas of my front chest, when I clearly jerked away in pain! Would have given negative 5 stars if I could. It is simply not justifiable to be paid 4800 baht for such...

Booked 6PM slot for a Dream Package 90 min that have 45 mins foot , 15 min hand and 30 min back and shoulder massage for 950baht.

Arrived at 550pm as i expected to change shoes, wash leg etc so that the massage will start at 6pm or before 605pm. However, i waited until 620pm then comes the slipper change, and wash leg.

The massage wasnt what i expected. The massagers apparently are very tired and they cant give a good massage. Basically is touching on my leg hand and back.

Its quite a disappointing massage as i think my wife strength is stronger than them. *Note: is both me and my wife massager are very weak. *
