I had Tandoori Flames Restaurant noted on my itinerary for quite some time, and I’m glad to say it lived up to every expectation. From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and inviting setup set the tone for a great dining experience. The music they played complemented the cozy ambiance perfectly, making it an enjoyable place to sit back and relax.

I started with a Sex on the Beach cocktail, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced — a great way to begin the evening. For starters, I ordered paneer, which was incredibly soft and well-prepared. The spices were just right, not overpowering, and the accompanying chutney was flavorful and fresh. The dish was a wonderful combination of texture and taste.

Moving on to the mains, I tried the brinjal bharta, which was rich, smoky, and satisfying. Paired with soft, buttery naan, it made for a deliciously comforting meal. Everything tasted authentic and well-cooked, clearly prepared with care.

Before leaving, I couldn’t resist taking away some rasmalai, knowing it would be just as delightful as the rest of the meal. The pricing for the quality and portion sizes felt very reasonable, adding more value to the overall experience.

A special mention goes to Manoj, who served us with efficiency, kindness, and a friendly demeanor. His recommendations were spot-on, and everything he suggested turned out to be delicious. The only concern is they charge you 10% service charge so I paid 124 baht just the service charge which was a little bummer!

Tried a variety of dishes here, and overall it was a mixed experience with some real highlights and a few letdowns.

Hot & Sour Soup – Nicely made, but a bit too heavy on garlic and ginger which overpowered the balance. ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)

Drumsticks (Special) – Well-seasoned and tender, but the aftertaste didn’t sit right. Considering it was listed as a “special,” I expected more. ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)

Salted Lassi – This was a disappointment. I was craving a proper Indian salted lassi, but it lacked salt and authenticity. ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5)

Garlic Naan – Crunchy on the outside, soft and tasty inside. Perfectly done and probably the star of the meal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

Mint & Sweet Chutney (Sides) – Decent, but lacked the punch and freshness I was hoping for. ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)

Pani Puri – The dough was crispy, light, and beautifully made. Potatoes were smooth, but the sauce was missing that sour tang which made it less exciting. ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)

From the moment we walked into Tandoori Flames, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. But what truly made our visit outstanding was the impeccable service from Amar.

Amar went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered excellent recommendations based on our preferences. His friendly and professional demeanor made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire meal.

Now, the food—absolutely phenomenal! Each dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the tandoori platter was smoky and tender, and the garlic naan was the best we’ve ever had. Every bite was a testament to the quality and care that goes into their food.

Amar’s exceptional service, paired with the delicious food and inviting atmosphere, made this a dining experience we won’t forget. We’ll definitely be coming back soon—and asking for Amar again!
