What a disgusting place to eat Indian food. They served us with leftover from their previous table. How do I know? I will tell you whole story. Me and my wife went in Bombay Kitchen & Lounge as it looked busy compared to other restaurants around. We were welcomed in and given a seat. They had 4 table with people eating. As we ordered one table was almost finishing. They had leftover ‘rotis’ (Indian bread) which they collected from that table in last. Later on girl from same table went to cash register (she was working there). They served same rotis they picked up from previous table. Two rotis had curry marks on them and clearly looked like they just reheated rotis to serve us. Later on I found out out of 4 tables eating two tables were their own people as they were roaming around in restaurant after finishing their meals. They were sitting just to make restaurant look busy and get more customers. I couldn’t eat any of roti and left most food as it is. Really disappointed to see people can go certain level to cut food cost. As I also run a restaurant in Australia but can’t imagine doing anything like this to gain profit. What a shameful act. Please don’t reply or clarify anything beacause you know what you did. I gave you tip as an insult to you guys. Please people...

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Bombay Kitchen & Lounge, Phuket. The service was pathetic, and the staff, especially one fair-skinned guy with a golden beard from Burma, was beyond arrogant. He has no sense of how to talk to customers.
During payment, I opted to pay by card, and he mentioned a 3% charge, which I agreed to. While making the payment, I received a call, and he tapped my card. However, he deliberately disabled tap-and-pay, causing the transaction to fail. When I pointed it out, he rudely asked, "Are you illiterate? Don’t you know about your own card?" I told him my tap-and-pay was not enabled and asked him to swipe it instead. Instead of assisting, he started arguing aggressively and made offensive remarks about Indians, saying we don’t know how to behave.
I chose to remain silent since I was with my family in a foreign country, but such behavior is unacceptable! To make matters worse, the food was below average and tasted stale. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I would never recommend this place. There are plenty of better Indian restaurants in Phuket where you will be treated with respect.

Text: I had a terrible experience at Bombay Kitchen (Arabic, Indian, Thai) in Phuket. They added an extra 4500 THB to my bill without any justification. When I questioned the staff, they insisted I pay first and report later. I even involved the police, but they also advised me to pay and report the issue afterward.
This is a clear case of scam and overcharging tourists. I want to warn everyone to be careful when dining here. Such behavior is unacceptable, and tourists should be treated fairly.
