Prime Burger Central Patong — Restaurant in Patong

Don't want to be hyper critical of what is not a bad eatery, but if you claim far and wide that you are 'Phukets best burger' then you have to take criticism on the chin. The restaurant is in the food court at Central Festival, it's well appointed and stands out from the usual fare. I ordered the award winning Stockholm burger and Mr friend the Paris burger. Unusually we both had the same opinion, the texture of the beef was very soft, too soft. The sauces were over powering and the bread roll not really up for the task in hand. There was also a general lack of cheese on the burger. Fries were extra, which is disappointing considering the price. Service was quick and friendly and the manager was particularly interested in our feedback which is encouraging. Is it Phukets best burger'? In my opinion no, but it is still worth a visit...

We ordered the Paris, New York and Stockholm burgers as well as the Mixed Chips. Paris: Not a fan of it.  The truffle did not have that true smokey truffle taste and instead tasted like fake truffle. Would order something else next time. New York: It was really good. The Beef patty was clearly pressed on the grill and had a caramelised cripsy edge (skirt) to it. Would definitely order it again. Stockholm (double): The brioche bun did what it was meant to do. It did not get too soggy, was not too dense. The beef patty had a very good crust. Overall, it was very tasty, with the Pickles going well with the burger. I would order a double again. A quality burger. Mixed chips:  Too much stuff going on, and would just order one of the other french fry options...

We came here around 18:00 (6:00pm) and it wasn’t very busy. We ordered and the food came within 10 minutes. The food was delicious! It was fresh and a good portion. We were stuffed. We ordered a single patty Stockholm with chilly cheese poppers and a double patty Paris with beef prime fries. The buns were very soft just like pillows, the patty’s were thin and crisp and not dry. The fries were crispy even with the cheese sauce. The chilly cheese poppers taste a little like burger kings chilly cheese nuggets which I love! But these ones a lot bigger and taste home made. We also ordered a cheese dipping sauce and it was filled to the rim! I would definitely recommend to come here...
