I hate to give a place 3 stars when the food was pretty good! Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. The staff member, though polite, was managing the floor alone (which wasn’t her fault). As a result, we waited 20 minutes for some lettuce, even though the meat arrived much earlier—meaning we had to eat cold meat.
I also requested wasabi and lemon. The wasabi eventually arrived, but the lemon never did. Interestingly, the wasabi salmon dish had a nice kick to it, yet the separate wasabi I received had no heat at all.
The evening started well, and the ambiance was quite nice, even though the staff were shouting to each other. However, based on the service, I just don’t think I could justify coming back.
My suggestions:
Hire an additional staff member—this would make a huge difference.

Read moreQuality beef! Thick cut and worth the price. For budget-wise, Jo-karubi and Karubi are good starters. Many innards and appetizers to choose from the menu. The sauce is salty-sweet which goes so well with beef --- adding chili and garlic makes me can't stop eating. Squid was huge and fresh!! Don't miss rib eye meat, they are extremely delicious!
For sweet tooth, don't miss the Hokkaido milk ice cream and Yuzu sherbet (50 Baht each)! 💕
Service is okay, not fast nor slow. Staffs were kind but looked a bit tired (thank you for your hard work!).
There's a car park nearby. Travel here by car/taxi is recommended. Walking is about 10-minute far from BTS and roads are a bit...
Read moreI came here due to staying nearby, and found that this place really shines compared to the surrounding Japanese restaurants.
The vibe is very old-timey izakaya, with old Japanese songs playing from the 1940’s and 50’s. My server spoke decent Japanese, which was a huge plus.
I got the yakitori moriawase, and she was kind enough to replace the gizzard skewer (can’t eat it). Minimum for credit card is 500 baht. The yakitori were phenomenal, and complimented my Asahi draft perfectly. Would absolutely...
