On the 18th of July 2023, I had the pleasure of indulging in a delightful lunch at Ramen Tei, located in Surawong, one of Bangkok's classic ramen restaurants nestled within the central business area. Despite not being featured on their current menu, I opted for their remarkable Fried Curry Ramen, a dish that has stood the test of time.

The ramen itself boasted a texture that can only be described as small and perfectly chewy, truly a hallmark of excellence. The infusion of yellow curry added a sensational flavor profile that resonated exceptionally well with my taste buds. To further enhance my culinary experience, I decided to treat myself to an irresistible side dish—the Fried Yellow Gyoza. The combination of the fragrant curry ramen and the crispy, golden gyoza was an absolute delight.

Not only was the food exceptional, but the service at Ramen Tei consistently remains at the pinnacle of excellence. The staff's attentiveness and professionalism were evident throughout my visit, ensuring a dining experience that exceeded my expectations.

In conclusion, Ramen Tei has established itself as a timeless gem in the heart of Bangkok's bustling business district. The Fried Curry Ramen, although not currently on the menu, remains an unforgettable choice, boasting impeccable texture and a divine curry-infused taste. Paired with the delectable Fried Yellow Gyoza and complemented by exceptional service, a visit to Ramen Tei is an influential experience that leaves a...

I just visit this restaurant by some reviewer from twitter as it nears my office.

The food is quite good. Average price is around 230-320 per dish and come up with a large portion so I think if you come with friend, you can share it with your friend as they will provide a small bowl to divide some portion separately.

I select cold tea as I love tea but quite surprise that it’s refill 🥰 because it’s hard to find a refill tea from normal restaurant and their service is quite food since the staff view walk around to see if your drink nearly run out or not and they will refill it.

For the atmosphere, they have 2 options for sitting which are counter area and dining table. I select dining table as I come with my friend. If you come alone or prefer to see what are chief doing, select the counter area as it opens area.

Anyway, during the way that I walk to this restaurant is not that too good for girl if you come after 18.00 since it’s a bit dark and many store that have a guys open...

Great food and amazing staff. I requested a vegetarian meal and despite the initial confusion (i think i made them a bit upset initially as they had to make a dish which was not in the menu - i asked to swap the pork for tofu in the aubergine meal) but they made it and it was delicous. My hb's tonkotsu ramen was perfect as well as the dumplings and the other dishes. They were also great with our kids (they were nice and kind) and the dinner was a good value for the money.

If i could suggest them something, i would make maybe even just one vegetarian dish (as if they had not accomodate our request, we would have had to leave the place and they would have lost customers who really really appreciated...

Been visiting this place for more than 15 years. And their consistency is on point. Gyoza 🧡, Mapo tofu 🧡, Liver x Greens 🧡 and ramens are decent with a different style of noodles. Reasonably priced. Big portions. Still saddened me every time that the place removed the “braised belly pork” or หมูสามชั้นตุ๋น - that dish was phenomenal. Other recommendations are Fried Rice, fried livers, tantanmen & etc. the sauce in the jar is very tasty. This place is those place where you really trust that your food will taste the same. Cheers!
