I know why you want to come to this place - the place looks clean, ambience looks nice and feels like a relaxing place to rest (which is very true). However, these are just used to disguise the poor service and massage skills.
Before this review l have been to 3 shops (incl this) of Kim’s - the experiences were less than satisfactory but not so outrageously bad. But this time it’s just unacceptable.
I booked a foot scrub and a foot massage, and the male masseur assigned is the most lazy one I have ever seen. The attitude was quite unwelcoming. I was taken to my seat, and he disappeared for 10 mins right after (also saw him chatting with others). And then, he showed up and put a mask-like thing on my feet, and he disappeared for another 20 mins (you may argue this is the standard procedure at Kim’s for foot scrub, well….). Finally he came back for around 10 mins scrubbing - and surprise! Foot scrub done.
The whole process was so bad that I ended it early so that I don’t waste extra money on massage. In the end, the shop tried to charge me 450 (while the price tag is 400 at their door) - they claimed the price tag is not updated. Of course I refused to pay extra, and the shop did just charge 400 in the end.
I don’t really leave bad reviews for massage shops where masseurs have good attitude but bad skills, but I do feel that the staff at this shop generally just think about finishing the service with the least effort, which is something I can’t accept.
All in all, avoid this chain, go to somewhere else better eg Sansabai nearby has a much better...
Read moreReally an unpleasant and frustrating experience. I told them before the massage even started that I had spinal surgery. The first 10 minutes were okay, but after I asked for slightly stronger pressure, the masseuse suddenly started using her elbows, kneeling, and even standing on my back.
I reminded her multiple times to use thumbs only, but she completely ignored me—even though she was fully aware of my condition. And when I insisted on thumb pressure only, the massage basically turned into her just rubbing oil all over my body. Seriously—for what? I might as well buy a 950 baht bottle of oil and rub it on myself at home!
At first, I thought she didn’t understand English. But while I was making the payment and submitting the paper review at the same time, the receptionist suddenly called her over—and she actually chased me down outside the shop, asking me to explain and even offering a refund. That’s when I realized she does understand English.
But during the entire session, she acted like she didn’t hear or understand a single word I said. What?! That just made me even more pissed off.
On top of that, I paid for a 2-hour session but only got 1 hour and 40 minutes. I didn’t take any refund from them, but this needs to be known—because it’s totally unacceptable.
Completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and a total waste of time and money. I will never come back. Totally not...
Read moreAttractive reception lobby and gorgeous foot reflexology area, clean and no frills massage room. Affordable prices, 2 hours in total of 1 hr foot & hand reflexology and 1 hr body oil massage for $850 baht. Short of a star because the 1 hr reflexology was not 1 hr but only 40 mins, and it was only foot there was no hand, when inquired about hand massage they say its together with the body massage, but does not add up because body was still only just 1 hr. You can choose your oil scent, lavender, orange, eucalyptus, lemongrass, coconut (add 100baht). The scent however is very mild and non existent. Also, there is no wipe down after massage with wet towel. But the massage itself is good, light pressured in general but its us as guests to communicate with masseuse how our preferred pressure. Staff were all welcoming and polite and the experience as a whole was positive, and will return. Was hunting for a good massage place from patong area to phuket town area and glad to have found this amazing place. Fyi if your massage room has a ledge along the wall, just be careful not to drop anything in the little gap against the wall as it is not retrievable. The staff tried their best to help but unless they get a carpenter to saw down the ledge its just impossible. Will deffo return!! This is a chain outlet but it seems like this particular outlet looks...
