Just be careful…. Make sure you know and HEAR exactly what the cost of an alcohol is. I know everything is expensive here…it’s a resort island. I get it. That said, I bought an $83 12-pack of Whiteclaw. Let’s just assume I didn’t hear the older woman tell me it was $83 bucks. Had I heard, I certainly would not have bought it. Let’s assume when she told me the price, she didn’t purposely obfuscate the amount. For the purpose of this post, I’ll take “ownership” for all of that. When I ultimately realized what she had charged me, I asked to reverse the charges. There were of course a litany of excuses as to why she couldn’t. I told her (being very familiar with the system) that’s exactly what the system is designed for. After about 2 minutes, determined it was worth it.

Responding to the Island Convenience: I came from an Island as well and we paid not only the taxes but also a higher sales tax like in your island. Your prices are over rated and there is no reason to be so abusive with the tourists. I asked around the people in the island and there are several other businesses providing more affordable prices but unfortunately, we learned that on the last day of my family trip. If you looked at my profile you’ll see that I am a frequent traveler with more than 4 millions photos views. I can clearly write about my experience and unfortunately, the island is the most expensive place that I ever traveled. For the amount of money expended you can visit El Salvador, Dominic Republic, Belize or even Puerto Rico and it will still be more affordable and with more sightseeing. Respectfully....
